Micah is a yorkie/min pin/chi around 1 yr old and about 10 lbs and Pedro is a 10 mos to 1 yr old male Terrier (maybe some rat terrier....who knows) about 12 lb . They are semi energetic small dogs that love humans and likes other dogs Their size (esp his Chi foster brothers/sisters) and LOVES humans (esp snuggling on human couch or human bed). They love dog beds, doggie blankets, dog harnesses and clothes. Are great companion for active retirees with a securely fenced yard that like small dogs.. They will be okay with small dog polite children (over 12 yrs of age) or no children. Small dog experience is recommended. They are an indoor dogs. They like walks and car rides L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people and likes a minute to warm up, but once he does, he’ll be buzzing around you with his goofy, playful energy. He loves hanging out with his people and being part of whatever you’re doing—especially if snacks are involved (those are definitely his favorite!). Buzz walks nicely on a leash, knows how to sit, is crate trained, and is currently doing well on his house training. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him a great fit for lots of different homes. With just a little patience at first, Buzz will quickly turn into your loyal sidekick, always nearby and ready to keep you smiling. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. This is Pike, who is just as brave as the Star Trek captain he was named for. He is a sporty and eager puppy, 7 months old. Possibly a Jackabee / Jack Russel Terrier / Beagle mix, He loves exploring the outdoors, playing in the backyard, and spending lots of time playing with his toys. He loves to have something thrown for him to catch, but doesn`t always bring it back because he`d like to play with it instead.He plays with all other dogs, and like the brave Captain Pike, no size of dog or type of dog will discourage him if the two want to play chase or wrestle a bit. His favorite friend is a very large Shepard puppy who also loves to play. The two of them had quite a beach day together exploring, running, playing in the sand, and chasing the surf. Pike loves adults and kids and wants to not just play, but also snuggle with everyone and get belly rubs. We don`t know how he gets along with cats, but we`re not sure that cats would like his energy or need to play or snuggle since cats like to be independent! He is Neutered, Microchipped, up to date on shots and is working on his potty training. His adoption fee is $380.
