Story
Leo is a smart, sweet pup around 1-1.5 years old. His people are his favorite thing, along with toys & treats. Leo is active, loves running around, & playing fetch in the backyard. Leo needs a home that has the desire & time for the mental stimulation & training he requires. Leo is potty-trained, leash-trained, & crate-trained for nighttime! He is eager to please but needs someone to teach him manners & positive channels for his playful energy. Leo explores the world through his mouth and will need a diligent eye to watch what he may get ahold of. Leo can be weary of unfamiliar children, although we have been able to slowly acclimate him to a young child in our family to develop a positive familiarity. Leo can be selective of other dogs. He is excited by calm, gentle dogs but nervous of loud, alpha dogs. No bite history or signs of aggression. Leo was adopted at an Oregon rescue with limited background info. He was brought to the rescue as a stray. He is neutered and microchipped.

What my friends at OHS say about me:Better believe it: I can give you twice my size in love!Feeling like you're missing something? I might be the perfect fit!I'm a fiend for food! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and win your way into my heart.I have been known to shower my favorite people with love.I would much prefer a leisurely sniffari walk than joining you for anything fast paced.Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Story
Xander is loving, and loyal, the very best cuddler! He loves treats and learning new things. As a middle aged dog he sleeps most of the day and is content with a short daily walk and play session. An ideal home for him is one that wants to invest in his training, has a quiet home environment and is able to be home with him most of the day. A couple important things to know about him are that he has Addison’s Disease which requires daily medication (easily given with breakfast), a monthly injection, and twice per year labs. Additionally, he is afraid of strangers and other dogs which must be understood and managed through environmental structure and training. Whatever inconvenience his needs represent he pays back in double portion of love, he bonds deeply and loves unconditionally. He is an attentive companion, ready to match your mood. He'll entertain you with hilarious antics or curl up with you and your book depending on the demands of the day.

Story
After being adopted to a loving home for almost 10 years, Sybil found herself back with New Rattitude after her person fell too ill to care for her any longer. Being a senior girl herself, Sybil is looking for a nice retirement home. Sybil is approximately 15 years-old, around 14 lbs. and quite the character. Although both her eyesight and hearing are not what they used to be, she has a silly, playful side and she can get a little rambunctious at times for an older girl. Her most favorite thing in the world is treat/meal time and she gets very animated, jumping and prancing about in anticipation! Sybil does just fine with all the other dogs in her foster home and being followed around appears to give her some security. She does spend much of her time napping in a comfy bed both inside and out in the yard. Going on walks isn't necessary as Sybil can't go too far and moves slowly when she does venture out. She needs a securely fenced yard, and a doggie-door would be ideal since she navigates going out to do her business very well. Sybil is house-trained however, being an older girl, she can sometimes leak a bit when she gets excited or sneezes. She can get a little disoriented after waking up but, that only lasts a few minutes. Stairs or obstacles of that sort would not be ideal for Sybil, a single story home is best. She has been sleeping in a crate in her foster home and does well for the whole night with no accidents. She is a quiet girl and has only barked a couple of times in her foster home.   Sybil is a sweetie who enjoys the simple things, a comfy bed, lots of treats, good food, and a secure yard to wander in occassionally. She does appreciate affection (she has very soft, silky fur) but, does not like to be picked up and is not able to get on the furniture for snuggles at this point in her life. She does like to follow her people around and would feel most comfortable in a home where someone will keep her company most of the day. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Buzz — the little guy who will buzz his way right into your heart 🐾 Buzz is a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing about 13 pounds, and he’s packed with personality. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people and likes a minute to warm up, but once he does, he’ll be buzzing around you with his goofy, playful energy. He loves hanging out with his people and being part of whatever you’re doing—especially if snacks are involved (those are definitely his favorite!). Buzz walks nicely on a leash, knows how to sit, is crate trained, and is currently doing well on his house training. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him a great fit for lots of different homes. With just a little patience at first, Buzz will quickly turn into your loyal sidekick, always nearby and ready to keep you smiling. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
