Meet Spotty A Super Social Little Guy Ready to Grow Up with a Family of His Own ❤️ Breed: Terrier Mixed Breed Gender: Male | DOB: 03/19/2026 | Weight/Size: 11 lbs (Currently Small) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | People ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats: Unknown Personality: ❤️ Friendly | Super Social | Playful | Affectionate Medical: ✔️ Neutered | ✔️ Vaccinated | ✔️ Dewormed | ✔️ NexGard Treated | Microchip Status: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Spotty's Story Spotty is a happy little guy who seems determined to make a friend everywhere he goes. At only five months old, Spotty is still discovering the world, and he approaches it with an incredibly social and friendly personality. He enjoys being around people, interacting with other dogs, playing, exploring, and getting plenty of attention. Spotty is super sociable, which is one of the first things you'll notice about him. Rather than sitting on the sidelines, he wants to be part of whatever is happening. He loves companionship and would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a young dog to include in everyday family life. He's still very much a puppy, so expect plenty of curiosity, playful energy, and enthusiasm. Toys, walks, games, training sessions, and new adventures will all help keep his growing mind and body busy. After the fun is over, Spotty is ready for affection and time with his people. His friendly nature makes him the kind of puppy who can quickly become an important part of the family. Because Spotty's specific breed mix is unknown, his adult size and breed characteristics cannot be predicted with certainty. What we do know is that this little boy has a big personality packed into his 11-pound body and plenty of love to give. Spotty would thrive in a home that provides: Plenty of companionship and affection Daily age-appropriate exercise Interactive play and toys Positive reinforcement puppy training Patient and consistent house-training Continued socialization Mental enrichment and training games A predictable household routine A safe indoor home where he's included as part of the family A lifelong commitment as he grows from puppy to adult Spotty is ready for someone who doesn't just want a puppy—they want a best friend to grow up alongside them. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect At five months old, Spotty is at an important stage for learning and socialization. His outgoing personality gives him a wonderful foundation, but continued training will help turn that friendly puppy enthusiasm into good adult manners. His adopter should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, occasional house-training accidents, energetic play, and lots of curiosity. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to start understanding his new household routine 3 Months to settle in, build trust, and truly feel at home Spotty will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Consistent house-training Basic obedience and leash training Safe socialization with people and other dogs Interactive toys and enrichment Age-appropriate walks and play Clear, consistent household boundaries Plenty of affection and encouragement Even though Spotty is naturally social, continued positive experiences with different people, places, sounds, and environments will be important as he matures. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Spotty has already received an excellent start on his veterinary care. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and has received NexGard parasite protection. His future family should continue providing: Routine veterinary wellness examinations Vaccines and boosters as recommended by his veterinarian Ongoing flea and tick prevention Heartworm and parasite prevention as recommended A nutritionally complete diet appropriate for a growing puppy Routine dental care Healthy weight management Daily physical exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Continued training and socialization Prompt veterinary care whenever illness or injury occurs A safe, comfortable indoor home Because Spotty is still growing, his nutritional and exercise needs will change as he matures. Regular veterinary care will help ensure he develops into a healthy adult dog. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Spotty, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to giving deserving dogs the opportunity to find safe, loving, permanent homes. Spotty is young, healthy, super social, and ready for his next big adventure. He has an entire lifetime ahead of him and would love nothing more than to spend it playing, exploring, learning, and growing up beside a family he can finally call his own. ❤️August 20, 2026, 3:00 pm

Penguin would thrive in a home that can provide: Daily walks and playtime Mental stimulation and engagement Structure and consistency Companionship and inclusion as part of the family He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a social, entertaining, and affectionate dog with lots of personality. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Penguin will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and consistency Continued socialization and engagement Mental stimulation and routine Patience during adjustment periods Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Penguin will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and engagement Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping him live a healthy and happy life. Story
**Now fostered in Truxton, NY** If you’re looking for a tiny queen with a big personality, a hilarious sense of humor, and just enough sass to keep life interesting… meet Bambi. This girl is pure entertainment wrapped up in the cutest little package. She’s the kind of dog who will have you laughing without even trying, flashing that big smile of hers, and somehow becoming the main character of your life overnight. Bambi doesn’t just exist in your home… she runs it (lovingly, of course). Watch her video and fall in love with her personality: https://youtu.be/2_n3tL3izY8?si=2MCNVAV5GmXcfkav Bambi is believed to be a chihuahua mix, around 6 years old, and approximately 30 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we can guarantee? She’s a certified Texas Special. A perfect mix of all the best things that somehow created one incredible dog. Let’s get one thing straight… Bambi is QUEEN B. She loves her people deeply and she absolutely expects her fair share (okay… all) of the love and attention. Belly rubs? Hers. Ear scratches? Hers. Treats? Also hers. And honestly, you won’t even mind because she makes it impossible not to adore her. She’s affectionate, snuggly, and will happily curl up with you on the couch. Especially if you’re wearing cozy clothes because yes, she is that kind of girl. She has a really fun, playful side too. Bambi loves tug-of-war, chasing toys, and bringing that bouncy, silly energy when she’s in the mood. She’s especially entertaining because sometimes she brings the game right into your lap. Personal space is optional when you’re having fun. Her favorite toys include Lamb Chop and her bunny, and if one falls off the couch? Out of sight, out of existence. It’s honestly hilarious. With other dogs, Bambi can be a bit particular. She’s not the type to love every dog she meets, but with the right match, she can really enjoy playtime, especially with dogs who match her energy and understand her style of play. Think confident, respectful dogs who enjoy wrestling, chase, and a little bit of rough-and-tumble fun, but who also know when to take breaks. She would also be perfectly happy as your one and only, soaking up all the attention and being the center of your world (which, let’s be honest, is her preference). She has met cats and did well overall, showing curiosity and even trying to initiate play. She would do best with a dog-savvy cat who doesn’t mind her playful interest and can hold their own if needed. Bambi is a smart girl who loves to learn. She already knows sit, shake, stay, and is working on lay down. She’s very treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both of you. The behavior team even believes she could excel in trick training or dog sports. She’s quick, agile, and loves engaging with her person. In the home, she’s a total gem. She’s potty trained, not destructive, and does great in a crate. She sleeps there overnight and settles easily. She’s also what we like to call a “passenger princess” in the car… she LOVES car rides and will happily load herself up, ready for whatever adventure you have planned. When it comes to people, Bambi is very social and loves attention. She may get a little excited and jump if she feels like she’s not being greeted fast enough (honestly relatable), but she settles quickly and then acts like you’ve been best friends forever. She’s done great around older kids (10+) and would thrive in a home with dog-savvy children who can match her playful energy. She’s a great mix of calm and playful. Happy to go for walks, play, and have fun, but also perfectly content lounging and snuggling at home. She would do well in an apartment or a house, just keep in mind she does have a little voice when it comes to treats… she likes to say “please” loudly sometimes. We personally think it adds to her charm. Her ideal home would be one where she’s loved, included, and appreciated for exactly who she is. A funny, affectionate, slightly sassy, incredibly lovable little queen. A yard would be a bonus, or someone committed to daily walks and playtime. She would thrive with someone who enjoys having a dog with personality, who wants a companion that brings both laughter and love into their life. Bambi is the kind of dog that makes you wonder how you ever lived without her. She’s fun, she’s loving, she’s endlessly entertaining, and she has so much personality packed into her little body. Her foster said it best, if circumstances were different, she’d already be staying forever. So if you’re ready for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and then curl up with you like she’s always belonged there… Bambi is ready to take over your heart (and your couch). Does Bambi sound like your girl? Apply today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/68238e82024e06cf690e32e3 Questions? Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
