Meet Emoji! Breed: Chihuahua MixGender: FemaleAge: AdultSize: Small (9 lbs)Good with: Her trusted people, quiet environments Emoji is a firm believer in stranger danger—and honestly, we respect her boundaries! This little Chihuahua mix likes the people she trusts, but she's not about to hand out that trust to just anyone who walks by. She doesn't warm up quickly and takes her time to really feel people out, making sure they're worthy of her affection before she commits. Emoji would likely do best in a quiet, adult-only home that doesn't have a lot of visitors. She's not built for the chaos of constant comings and goings, surprise guests, or unpredictable social situations. What she needs is a calm, predictable environment with a small circle of trusted humans who understand that her love is earned, not given freely. Once you're in Emoji's inner circle, you're IN—but getting there requires patience, consistency, and respect for her need to assess the situation on her own timeline. She's not unfriendly, she's just cautious. And in a world that can be overwhelming for a small dog, that's actually pretty smart. At just 9 pounds, Emoji is the perfect pocket-sized companion for someone who wants a loyal sidekick without the pressure of having a social butterfly dog. She's ideal for a quiet household, maybe with one or two people, where she can feel safe and secure without constantly having to meet new people or adapt to new situations. If you're looking for a small dog who will be devoted to YOU specifically (and maybe one or two other carefully vetted humans), Emoji is ready to emoji-heart you—once she's sure you're trustworthy! Ready to welcome Emoji into your life? Contact us to meet this wonderful girl! We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs. ##2485108##

Story
If you’ve ever wished for a tiny shadow with a wagging tail, Magpie is your girl.   This small black-and-white terrier mix is as sweet as they come. She’s cuddly, affectionate, and absolutely devoted to her people. Once she decides you’re hers, you’ll never walk alone again — kitchen, bathroom, laundry room… Magpie will be right there, just in case you needed moral support.   She gets along well with other small dogs, but make no mistake — her favorite place in the world is wherever you are. She will happily follow you from room to room, gazing up at you like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to her (because in her world, you are).   Magpie would thrive in a home where someone is around often and doesn’t mind a little extra love and attention. She isn’t just looking for a house — she’s looking for her person.   If you’re ready for a loyal, cuddly, tiny best friend who will adore you with her whole heart, Magpie is waiting. Story
Meet Eva, a delightful companion who embodies warmth and tranquility. Her friendly and cuddly nature makes her the perfect lap dog for anyone seeking a loyal friend. Eva`s mellow temperament means she`s great in a calm household where she can lounge and receive lots of love. Eva feels a bit insecure when she`s outside and isn`t yet leash trained, making her perfect for someone who enjoys peaceful, indoor environments. She`d rather be right at your side than by herself. She won`t run away if off leash. She`s house trained, demonstrating her good manners and readiness to fit right into a home setting. Despite her lazy streak, 11-pound Eva is always ready for affection and can be quite needy for your attention, which only adds to her charm. She likes car rides and toys but not water or baths. She`s incredibly lovable and tolerant, making her an ideal pet for families or singles alike. She`s gentle with children and gets along well with cats, making her a great family pet. While Eva is cautious around other dogs, she`s easy going and tolerant as long as they don`t expect her to share her toys. She was given up due to her humans` divorce. Adopt Eva today and experience the joy of unconditional love every day. (tw 4/17/2026)

Story
Meet Charlie, a bundle of energy and affection waiting for a forever home. He`s 50 pounds of energy in a 20-pound body. This adult dog is fully house trained and loves nothing more than cuddling up on a lap, making him the perfect companion for cozy evenings. While he`s reactive and jumpy on walks, his lovable nature shines through with proper guidance and patience. He was given up because of his barking and reactions during walks when seeing people and other animals. Charlie is often misunderstood, but beneath his lively exterior lies a heart full of love. He likes car rides, running, walks, toys, and water and he knows the sit command. In a previous home several years ago, he was friendly and playful with dogs and cats. However, due to his recently situation, you will need to bring your dog to meet him. Adopting Charlie means gaining a loyal friend who will bring joy and companionship to your life.
