Story
Hello and thank you for taking interest in adopting Vinny. I’ve had Vinny for about a year and he has been an excellent companion to my son and I. I am relocating for a job and our new place of residence doesn’t allow pets so I am not allowed to bring him with us. I want to re-home him into a nice loving family that wants a companion dog to love. His overall temperament is very reserved and docile. He is very nosy and observant and loves to sit and look out the window. He loves to go for walks as well and car rides to him are a special treat that he also enjoys! He is used to being walked a few times a day for at least ten minutes or more. He is house -broken,neutered and microchipped as well. He gets along with children and other dogs. He has not been around a lot of cats(or any animals besides family members dogs/neighborhood dogs) so I am not sure what his dynamic with them would be. His temperament is similar to that of a cats’ as far as his calm demeanor and grooming habits.

Story
Meet our sweet girl, Luna. She is 11 years old. She was found abandoned and hungry in someone's backyard by our friend Zulfiya, who asked us to take care of her temporarily. We fell in love with her and kept her for the past 4 years. She is a calm, gentle, and loyal companion. She rarely barks and loves nothing more than following her owner around and laying quietly by their side for hours. She knows several commands: sit, stay, wait, come, no, and heel. She is friendly with everyone she meets and great with children. We are heartbroken to let her go, but we are moving back to our home country and cannot take her with us. The journey would be too difficult for her and we do not have the means to bring her along. She deserves a loving and peaceful forever home. She would do wonderfully with a calm individual, a senior citizen, or a small family. She has so much love to give.

Story
Meet Winnie! 🩷 Winnie is the sweetest little girl with the cutest personality. She can be a little skittish when she first meets new people or experiences something new, but once she feels comfortable, she’s all in. She loves people, loves to snuggle in your lap, and when she gets really excited, her whole back end wags! She’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. Winnie loves playing fetch, enjoys tug, and has a blast running around with her foster siblings. She also has the cutest little prance when she walks that will make you smile every time. So far she’s doing great in her crate, we’re working on potty training, and she’s proving to be one smart little pup. She’s just starting to find her voice—usually when the other dogs think it’s time to bark and she chimes in. Winnie is going to make such a fun, loving addition to the lucky family who adopts her.  Winnie is a female Rat Terrier mix with an estimated date of birth of 3/7/26. She weighs 10 lbs.

Story
Meet Taz! Don’t let his size fool you—Taz has enough personality packed into his little body for a dog twice his size! This handsome terrier mix was pulled from Harris County alongside his kennel buddy, Mac, during our recent shelter rescue mission, and we’re so glad he’s finally getting his chance to shine. At around 2 years old, Taz is the perfect mix of fun and laid-back. He’s a sweet little guy who carries himself like a big dog, but deep down he just wants to be loved and included in all of life’s adventures. Whether it’s hanging out on the couch, going for a walk, or simply being your sidekick, Taz is happy just being part of the family. So far, Taz has shown us that he’s a pretty chill dude with a heart of gold. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart and become your best friend before you even realize it. Now all this little guy needs is a foster or forever home where he can be spoiled the way he deserves. Could Taz be your new best friend? Fill out an application to foster or adopt and give this sweet boy the happy ending he’s been waiting for! September 11, 2026, 8:06 pm

Story
Breed:   Rat Terrier/Chihuahua Mix?Gender:  MaleAge:  2 yearsSize: 8.2 lbsGood with:  Dogs and taking long naps in your lap Meet Walnut , a beautiful brindle Rat Terrier mix with a sweet soul and a very important mission in life: to be a lap dog at all times. Walnut may put on a little shy act when he first meets someone new, but don’t let him fool you—this handsome boy warms up quickly! Before long, he’s ready to show you his affectionate side and claim his favorite spot: right in your lap. Once he’s comfortable, Walnut’s curious nature really starts to shine. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, checking things out, and discovering what the world has to offer. But after all that important investigating, he’s more than happy to return to his favorite human for some quality cuddle time. He’s the perfect combination of sweet, curious, affectionate, and just a little bit shy—at least until he decides you’re his person. Then, prepare yourself for a permanent lap companion! Walnut is looking for someone who will appreciate his gentle nature, give him a little time to settle in, and happily accept his offer to become their personal lap dog. Beautiful brindle coat? Curious explorer? Sweet personality? Professional lap dog? Absolutely! Walnut is ready to warm his way into your heart—and probably right onto your lap.
