Story
EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. March 19, 2026, 12:17 am

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If loving people were an Olympic sport, Boone the six-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix would take home the gold every single time! This 40-pound bundle of red-coated enthusiasm is friendly, playful, and so genuinely thrilled to be near his people that he has been known to get so excited during a good petting session that he ends up underfoot on the leash walk. He means well, he just really loves you. Boone knows sit, is quiet and calm in his crate, and is currently working on his housetraining. He is a smart boy and with consistency he will get there. Squeaky toys are basically Boone's love language, and he is happiest when he has a good squeak toy in his mouth, a dog friend to play with, and a human nearby ready to deliver belly rubs on demand. He is good with other dogs and friendly with strangers, and would do best in a home without cats. Boone would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where he can burn off that glorious puppy energy and then come inside for the snuggles he so deeply deserves. He is young, enthusiastic, healthy, and has an absolutely enormous amount of love to give. If you are ready for a joyful, affectionate, and squeaky-toy-obsessed hound boy to join your family, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. May 15, 2026, 6:09 pm

Story
Meet Annie A Gentle Soul Ready to Bloom Fostered in Bethlehem, PA through Rogers Rescues Annie is a 4-year-old Redbone Coonhound with the softest velvety fur and an even softer heart. Weighing about 48 lbs right now, shes a little underweight and still needs to gain about 8 pounds after a stressful stay at a KY shelterbut with love, stability, and good meals, shes already starting to thrive. Annies story is one of quiet resilience. She spent over 4 months in the shelter, where she completely shut down. Because she was so shutdown, she was easily overlooked by potential adopters despite being a staff favorite and being featured on the local KY news. The shelter rescue coordinator knew this sweet girl deserved more than a life in a kennel on cold concrete, so she reached out to Rogers Rescues for help in finding the loving home she truly deserves. Since being in foster care, Annie has begun to blossom. She is still a sensitive girl who can be startled by loud noises and the unpredictability of the world, but she has learned to trust the people around her and embrace all of luxuries of being in a house. Shell gently approach for love and attention, showing just how much she wants to connect, or politely grab a bone and curl up on a bed and happily chew away. The concrete abrasions on her legs resulting from laying on concrete floors are healing and she is starting to gain weight--all signs of her settling into her comfortable new life. Annie truly shines in a calm, predictable environment where she feels safe. She would do best with a patient adopter who understands shy dogs and is willing to give her time to continue building confidence. In return, youll get a loving, loyal companion. Shes already proven how much she can grow once she feels securenow she just needs a forever family to show her that the world isnt so scary after all.More Details About Annie: Housebroken and crate trainedshe actually likes her crate! Very gentle and easy to have in the home Loves other dogs and happily shares a bed with them Enjoys chewing on dog bones Loves to sit by the window and watch the world go by Fine with cats (she was cat-tested at the shelter) Walks nicely overall and sits politely for her harness (though squirrels can be very exciting and she may pull!) If youre looking for a sweet, gentle dog who will reward your patience with trust and love, Annie just might be your perfect match. Any interested adopters must be willing to drive to meet her in person in Bethlehem, PA. Please note that we do not hold dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our application. Meetings will not be scheduled without an application.
