Meet Dixie! Breed: Redbone Coonhound Estimated DOB: 10/06/2025 Sex: Female (spayed) Weight: 45 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Dixie: • Rescued from Mississippi and recently returned through no fault of her own — now settling in beautifully with her foster family and ready to find her forever home• Loves people of all ages and sizes — an absolute sweetheart with everyone she meets• Spirited and fun-loving with those classic Redbone zoomies — she thrives with playtime and loves having a dog buddy to romp around with• Smart as a whip and treat motivated — already knows sit and is working on stay and come; she is eager to learn and picks things up quickly• Walks beautifully on a leash• A little mouthy at toddler hour before bed, but redirects quickly like the good girl she is• Fair warning: she has that bold, classic hound bark — and the softest, most enormous ears you have ever felt in your life• Does well in the crate overnight and for a few hours during the day — settles after a few minutes; she would do best in a home with a flexible schedule rather than long crate stretches• Fully housebroken — zero accidents!• Dog friendly — absolutely loves playing with her foster sibling• Would do best with a dog-savvy cat Looking for a loving and committed forever home to provide her with the care and love she deserves Learn more and apply to adopt at http://TLCrescuePA.org/adopt Interested in fostering? Story
Hello, my name is: LolaApprox. DOB: 12/19/2024Weight: 55 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female redbone coonhound mixRescued From: Found strayLola’s path to rescue was one no living being should have to endure. She was found roaming as a stray, clearly let down by people in the past. When she was finally captured and brought to safety, an unimaginable horror was discovered - Lola had been shot in the face. The worse part? The wounds had healed on their own, leaving broken and cracked teeth behind. We were completely heartbroken thinking of the pain she must have endured and how scared she must have been fending for herself with such an injury. She’s all fixed up now, and ready for kindness and love. After everything she’s been through, you would expect her to hold a grudge, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Lola LIVES to be loved. She is incredibly affectionate and happy, tail often wagging. She’s one of those dogs that seems to peer into your soul when she makes eye contact. Lola is a lower energy kind of girl. She loves to sleep wherever she lands – on a dog bed, in a sunspot in the grass, on the patio under the table… she can nap anywhere! Now that she knows she is safe and doesn’t have to be on alert 24/7, she has really embraced the art of relaxing. As the days pass, her energy level is ticking up a bit, but she is still pretty low-key. Lola is not a clingy dog, but she likes to be close. Her foster mom says she is right next to perfect: house trained, doesn’t jump up, calm, rarely barks, sleeps through the night without a peep, and does well on leash. Lola loves ear scratches, belly rubs, being talked to, a good nap, a bedtime treat, and any and all mealtimes. She would do best in a home where someone is home a lot, and with a fenced yard to enjoy. She also loves other dogs and gets along beautifully with them.Lola is an absolute dream and deserves a devoted family that will keep her safe and make her feel loved. Please help us find this beautiful girl the forever home she so desperately deserves! All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If loving people were an Olympic sport, Boone the six-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix would take home the gold every single time! This 40-pound bundle of red-coated enthusiasm is friendly, playful, and so genuinely thrilled to be near his people that he has been known to get so excited during a good petting session that he ends up underfoot on the leash walk. He means well, he just really loves you. Boone knows sit, is quiet and calm in his crate, crate trained when on a schedule and is currently working on his housetraining. He is a smart boy and with consistency he will get there. Squeaky toys are basically Boone's love language, and he is happiest when he has a good squeak toy in his mouth, a dog friend to play with, and a human nearby ready to deliver belly rubs on demand. He is good with other dogs and friendly with strangers, and would do best in a home without cats. Boone would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where he can burn off that glorious puppy energy and then come inside for the snuggles he so deeply deserves. He is young, enthusiastic, healthy, and has an absolutely enormous amount of love to give. If you are ready for a joyful, affectionate, and squeaky-toy-obsessed hound boy to join your family, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 19, 2026, 8:59 pm
