Hi, I’m a joyful, energetic girl who’s discovering just how fun life can be. I recently came to the shelter through our Humane Officers and have been embracing my fresh start with curiosity and excitement. I love stretching my legs, showing off my zoomies, and exploring everything around me. Toys? I adore them, especially the kind I can really get into! I may be a little shy when we first meet, but I warm up quickly and have so much playful personality to share. I’ve lived with children and other dogs before and did well with both. I’m energetic in the best way, I’d thrive with an active family who enjoys routine, enrichment, and plenty of playtime. If you’re looking for a fun, spirited companion who’s ready to run into her next chapter with you, I’m your girl.

MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle Lab-Ridgeback-Pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 6 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better, and continues to be on good salmon food and supplements. He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. Howie is a big snuggler and will want to share your bed! He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping he can find a home by the end of the year. Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. He weighs about 55-60 lbs., and is still in California and available to meet! Please email for an application.

Meet our sweet, beautiful girl Arya! She is approximately 8 years old and 60 lbs of pure love! Arya is super sweet, very affectionate, mellow, smart, and funny. She is the goodest girl who will do anything for a yummy treat! She absolutely loves her belly rubs and can often be found on her back, legs stretched out, waiting for her pets! She needs a little bit of time to warm up to a new environment or person, but once she gets comfortable, she will shower you with so much affection every day, everywhere. Here’s how to describe this sweet pea: - Walks great on leash (loves going on walks) - Easy to train as she’s super food motivated (food will make her do anything) - Smart and picks up new tricks/toys quickly - Crate and house trained - Loves to spend time with her human. She’ll be happy just sitting next to you - Very good in the car - Very good with brushing teeth, cleaning ears, shower - Loves belly rubs and pets - Loves squeaky toys - Good with other calm large dogs - She takes a daily anti-inflammatory for her minor arthritis but has no problem going on walks and living a happy life! :) As Arya needs a little bit of time to warm up, an adults-only home is recommended. Please please adopt me before my parents have no choice but to take me to the pound. I come with lots goodies like a crate and lots of toys. It is with a heavy heart I have to re home Princess and her brother Hercules. They are both wonderful dogs. They are very attentive and love attention. They love being petted and eating treats. Their favorite food is dried food and watermelon. They love to swim in the lake. Never been to the ocean but I’m sure they would love that too. They need lots of space to run around. They sleep on furniture and enjoy cuddling at night. They are indoor outdoor dogs. Please only people who love big dogs. If possible both go to same home. Thank you.
