Zuri is a very sweet gentle 10yo girl. She is healthy and happy and loves sunning, sleeping and enjoys a walk around the neighborhood. She grew up with children and dogs and loves them. She has been taught not to jump on people, and she sits in front of you when she wants to say hello. She knows basic commands sit, stay, come and leave it. She enjoys leaning against your leg for a head scratch and cuddle. Zuri is dog door trained and crate trained and does well sleeping either outside the crate or inside it on a crate bed. Unfortunately we are moving and she needs a new home.

Meet Simba, our handsome Rhodesian Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix, rescued from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Simba is a big, gentle boy with an even bigger heart. He weighs about 94 lbs and is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Despite his size, Simba truly doesn’t realize how big he is—he’s incredibly sweet, soft-natured, and gentle. He loves people and gets along beautifully with other dogs. Simba is ready for a family who will give him the love and security he deserves. MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle Rhodesian Ridgeback/pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 5 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better! He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. He's a big snuggler and will want to share your bed. He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping 2025 is his year! Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. He weighs about 55-60 lbs. Please email for an application.

She's also in training!
