He weighs about 94 lbs and is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Despite his size, Simba truly doesn’t realize how big he is—he’s incredibly sweet, soft-natured, and gentle. He loves people and gets along beautifully with other dogs. Simba is ready for a family who will give him the love and security he deserves. Meet our sweet, beautiful girl Arya! She is approximately 8 years old and 60 lbs of pure love! Arya is super sweet, very affectionate, mellow, smart, and funny. She is the goodest girl who will do anything for a yummy treat! She absolutely loves her belly rubs and can often be found on her back, legs stretched out, waiting for her pets! She needs a little bit of time to warm up to a new environment or person, but once she gets comfortable, she will shower you with so much affection every day, everywhere. Here’s how to describe this sweet pea: - Walks great on leash (loves going on walks) - Easy to train as she’s super food motivated (food will make her do anything) - Smart and picks up new tricks/toys quickly - Crate and house trained - Loves to spend time with her human. She’ll be happy just sitting next to you - Very good in the car - Very good with brushing teeth, cleaning ears, shower - Loves belly rubs and pets - Loves squeaky toys - Good with other calm large dogs - She takes a daily anti-inflammatory for her minor arthritis but has no problem going on walks and living a happy life! :) As Arya needs a little bit of time to warm up, an adults-only home is recommended. Arya also needs to be the only pet in the home, and prefers a mellow home. Arya has never forgotten any of her fosters, and gets SO excited when they come to visit her. She’s gentle and a little thoughtful at first, but once she warms up, Maya is deeply loving, loyal, and emotionally tuned in. MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle Lab-Ridgeback-Pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 6 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better, and continues to be on good salmon food and supplements. He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. Howie is a big snuggler and will want to share your bed! He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping he can find a home by the end of the year. Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. He weighs about 55-60 lbs., and is still in California and available to meet! Please email for an application.
