Lily was born August 1 2015, and came into my life in 2017 through a close friend. In 2019, she survived a major car accident in Rochester, where she was lost in the woods for two weeks before being found—and from then on, I fully adopted her in Buffalo NY. Six years later, she’s still full of energy and spirit, acting most of the time like a playful puppy than a senior dog. I’m now looking for a loving home that can give her the time and attention she deserves in her golden years. A few things to know about her: • She’s a great walker and enjoys meeting people and other animals. • She knows her boundaries and will walk away or pull away if she’s not interested. • She’s very food-motivated and endlessly curious. • She’s a velcro dog—if she could speak it’s “where are WE going?” • She greets you with joy and tail-wagging excitement when you come home. This is JULIAN. He is one year and nine months old and 25 pounds as of December 23, 2024. He is currently being fostered with many dogs and cats and he’s amazing. We think he is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. That’s our best guess! Julian is one of four siblings. His mom was found pregnant as a stray. Everyone has been adopted ~ mom and his three sisters. He’s been waiting for a forever home for over a year now. He’s ready to go home with you! His foster mom says he’s sweet, loving, and affectionate ~ he’s perfect!! JULIAN is playful and a ball of total love. He’s curious and willing to learn. He is good with everyone, dogs and cats. He will be a great exercise partner. Dobby is a survivor. For six years, he roamed the streets of Pristina, Kosovo—dodging roundups, hunger, and locals who abused strays like him. He lost an eye and half his tail as a result of human cruelty, but he hasn't lost his gentleness. After a 15-hour flight to the U.S., he’s discovering safety for the first time. He let me bathe him on his first night, learned to trust, and now sleeps curled beside me every night. Dobby is fully housetrained, neutered, vaccinated, and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. He has warmed up to my cat and is now fully integrated into my little "pack." He follows my older dog’s lead, loves quiet company, and rests deeply—finally able to relax. He’s not high-energy; he’s content with warmth, softness, and love. We're very sadly posting our pet Buster here. My wife and I both love this dog, he's incredibly loving with us, he's house trained, smart, athletic, very good looking. He loves our cats and our chihuahua, but other big dogs can be a problem if they don't give him space. He's super affectionate in general, and loves to cuddle and be the center of attention. Buster needs a firm hand, he's got a strong alpha personality and is mischievous. He also needs exercise that we haven't been able to provide. Chew toys are a must. He's an easy dog if you can keep up with his exercise needs. He's house trained, he's good on the leash and great off leash. He's 70 pounds. Buster is an anxious dog. He doesn't enjoy dog parks, or places he doesn't feel safe. He doesn't like unfamiliar people, and can be very defensive of the people he wants to protect. He's never bit, but will bark and raise his hackles.
