Story
My name is Chip! I am about 65 lbs and 2.5 years old. I am an active young lad who is friendly and has been waiting for my forever family to scoop me up. I am a Rhodesian Mix and by the look of my stunning eyes, I might be part Husky. I live with an older dog now whom I respect and occasionally will play with (if she lets me!). I also live with a cat - we definitely take naps together. I am very loyal and affectionate with my foster parents and friendly with all other people I have met. In my past home, I lived with school aged kids. They were great too. I am a smart dog and I already know some basic commands like sit, shake, and up. I am crate-trained and housebroken. I also love to play fetch! I could literally do this for hours so exercising me is a breeze if you don't want to leave your fenced in yard for the day. I do enjoy walks! I could use a bit more brushing up on my leash skills but I will walk with you wherever you want to go! Even though I can keep up with activity, I really know how to snuggle and chill out. This is JULIAN. He is one year and nine months old and 25 pounds as of December 23, 2024. He is currently being fostered with many dogs and cats and he’s amazing. We think he is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. That’s our best guess! Julian is one of four siblings. His mom was found pregnant as a stray. Everyone has been adopted ~ mom and his three sisters. He’s been waiting for a forever home for over a year now. He’s ready to go home with you! His foster mom says he’s sweet, loving, and affectionate ~ he’s perfect!! JULIAN is playful and a ball of total love. He’s curious and willing to learn. He is good with everyone, dogs and cats. He will be a great exercise partner. He may not be winning any fetch awards, but he will definitely win over your heart with his mad snuggling skills. If a night of snack, snuggling and sitcoms is your thing – JULIAN may be a perfect match.
