We're very sadly posting our pet Buster here. My wife and I both love this dog, he's incredibly loving with us, he's house trained, smart, athletic, very good looking. He loves our cats and our chihuahua, but other big dogs can be a problem if they don't give him space. He's super affectionate in general, and loves to cuddle and be the center of attention. Buster needs a firm hand, he's got a strong alpha personality and is mischievous. He also needs exercise that we haven't been able to provide. Chew toys are a must. He's an easy dog if you can keep up with his exercise needs. He's house trained, he's good on the leash and great off leash. He's 70 pounds. Buster is an anxious dog. He doesn't enjoy dog parks, or places he doesn't feel safe. He doesn't like unfamiliar people, and can be very defensive of the people he wants to protect. He's never bit, but will bark and raise his hackles.

                                                                             KENNEL ID #18804 Rudy was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Rudy was a stray and was so pitiful in the shelter. Rudy weighs approx. 30lbs. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? My name is Rikki! I am almost 8 months old and 48 lbs. We think I could be a mix of Boxer, Shepherd, Rhodesian... probably a bunch of great breeds! We think I am almost full grown - I could put on a few and get to 55ish. What is great about me? I am housebroken, I am good with all people including kids. I also love other dogs and I am playful with them. I am gentle and I love attention. I am also trustworthy in the house and I am crate-trained but in my home now, I don't use it much. I am still trying to figure out what this thing called a leash is. I will need a little more work to find my confidence but I will get there.
