                                                                             KENNEL ID #18804 Rudy was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Rudy was a stray and was so pitiful in the shelter. Rudy weighs approx. 30lbs. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? Story
We're very sadly posting our pet Buster here. My wife and I both love this dog, he's incredibly loving with us, he's house trained, smart, athletic, very good looking. He loves our cats and our chihuahua, but other big dogs can be a problem if they don't give him space. He's super affectionate in general, and loves to cuddle and be the center of attention. Buster needs a firm hand, he's got a strong alpha personality and is mischievous. He also needs exercise that we haven't been able to provide. Chew toys are a must. He's an easy dog if you can keep up with his exercise needs. He's house trained, he's good on the leash and great off leash. He's 70 pounds. Buster is an anxious dog. He doesn't enjoy dog parks, or places he doesn't feel safe. He doesn't like unfamiliar people, and can be very defensive of the people he wants to protect. He's never bit, but will bark and raise his hackles.

She’s a 1.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Doberman mix who’s full of affection, personality, and charm. Alex is a total cuddlebug — she loves to snuggle up close and thinks the best place to sleep is right in bed with her people. She’s playful and has a bright, lively spirit with plenty of energy to keep up with an active family or adventure-loving person. She absolutely loves going for walks and gets so excited the moment she sees her leash! She’s friendly and social, gets along great with other dogs, loves her feline companions in her foster home, and is wonderful with kids as well. Alex is also one smart cookie — she’s crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations. Between her her loving nature, and her joyful personality, Alex is truly irresistible. Meet Star! 🌟 Star is a 4-year-old Catahoula/Hound mix with a heart every bit as big as her personality. This girl has been through more than most dogs ever should - she was shot, and the bullet went through her jaw and ear. She underwent jaw surgery, and as a result, her tongue now hangs out permanently. But Star doesn’t let her past define her. She is pure resilience wrapped in sweetness. Star is incredibly affectionate and so happy-natured. She loves to run, explore, and play, but she also knows how to wind down and melt into you for snuggles - the perfect balance of fun and companionship. She does wonderfully with kids and gets along beautifully with other dogs, but would do best in a feline-free home as her instints may lead her to chase. She enjoys car rides and would make a wonderful adventure buddy for someone who wants a loyal co-pilot by their side. She’s very smart, already knows “sit,” and uses the doggie door like a total pro. Star is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find the family who will love her for the amazing, one-of-a-kind girl she is.
