Story
Bjorn is a handsome, neutered Rottweiler, estimated by our vet to be around 2 years old. He was found wandering in Las Vegas, and after no one claimed him, he came to live with us. Bjorn is a friendly, mellow, and social dog. He lives well with two dogs and three cats, and he regularly interacts with two small dogs and two young children (ages 4 and 6). He is not aggressive, not food possessive, and does well meeting new people. He is house-trained, knows basic manners like sitting and waiting for meals, and walks nicely on a leash (may briefly pull to sniff). He enjoys outdoor play and occasional zoomies, but is generally calm indoors. He does not like being crated and has been sleeping loose in the house without issue. Bjorn has a strong prey drive toward chickens, which is why he needs to be rehomed. He would do best in a home without poultry or small livestock. His recall will benefit from continued training. Bjorn is a good dog who deserves a home that fits his needs.

Story
Sadie's journey began as a lost soul in rural Stockton, but her story is just beginning. This adorable Rottweiler mix, estimated to be about 2 years old, is a testament to the power of love and care. Having spent such a long time in the shelter, she has a timid nature and needs a patient and loving person to help her blossom. The staff members here that see her every day learned her true, sweet personality and joy for belly rubs. She's flourished in our playgroups, showing she's a social butterfly with other medium-sized pups, and has mastered leash training. Sadie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to embark on her new life. Her adoption fee of $50 supports our efforts to rescue and rehome animals in need. Don't miss the chance to meet this wonderful girl! Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Bandit is a sweet senior who wants nothing more than your love. He is the perfect combination of sweet and shy that makes your heart melt. While his pictures make him look big, he is actually a pocket sized rottweiler mix at about 55 pounds. He loves his trusted humans unconditionally and wants to shadow you whenever he can. Bandit is guaranteed to add lots of love, kisses and cuddles to your life. Where there is warmth you will find Bandit; warmth from the sun, from a heater, from a fur friend or from a human. He sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog and will plop himself on your lap for a nap, taking comfort in being with his human. Check out Bandit's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwlJxEafkJcZ23qSb8i_8EPM He loves to play with his foster sister and sometimes looks quite goofy, which just adds to his charming personality. He is crate-trained, fully house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is highly treat motivated and is learning in foster care to do things like sit, lay down, stay, be a gentleman, and wait. Bandit has lived with small dogs, dogs his size, adult men, and adult women and has done well with all. He does take a moment to warm up to new people, sounds, and places. Bandit has a few health issues going on that sometimes impact his behavior. He has hip dysplasia, hyperthyroidism, arthritis, and early stage kidney disease. While 99% of the time Bandit is an absolute sweetheart, if any of his medication is off, if he overdoes his physical exercise, or if he is feeling anxious he may growl or snap. Because of this, Bandit should only be adopted by an experienced dog handler. Bandit is currently on thyro-tabs, joint supplements, and anti-anxiety medication. The cost of all of his medication is less than $100 per month. Bandit deserves his forever family. If that might be you, be sure to fill out an adoption application: https://betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application/ Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet. Brutus is a big puppy that has a ton of love to give! He loves everyone he meets and is a great cuddle buddy. In the morning he will wake you up with kisses and loves riding in the car. He will even look over your shoulder to make sure you’re following the law. Brutus is good on leash and knows some commands like sit, down, and shake. He is working on not jumping when he’s super excited and meeting new people. Brutus does well with other dogs and he’s good around kids, just exercise caution. He hasn’t met cats but is suspected to do fine and he is working on his house training. Brutus is neutered, up to date on vaccine, and chipped.
