Story
Sisu is a 3 year old female purebred Rottweiler. She loves attention and to be pet. Unfortunately we will be moving soon and are no longer able to take care of her and give her the attention she needs. Sisu is a very active and energetic dog. She is very sweet and kind toward people. Sisu doesn’t know her own size and strength and can be unknowingly rough with smaller kids. She has never been around other dogs or cats before and is current on all of her shots. We are moving and cannot take her with us. We are looking for a new home for Sisu that can give her the love and care she deserves.

Story
🥭 Mango – The Rottie Queen of Love, Belly Rubs & Second Chances! 🐾👑 At 5 years old and 86 glorious pounds, Mango is basically a weighted blanket with paws—calming, cozy, and impossible not to fall in love with. Rescued from the Visalia Shelter, this girl has a past she’s not talking about, but let’s just say… she’s earned her crown as the Queen of Gentle Hearts. If you raise your hand too fast, Mango might hit the ground and roll belly-up—not for drama, but because somewhere along the way, love wasn’t always what she got. Now? All she wants is to soak up every ounce of kindness she can find (preferably while laying upside down). ✨ What makes Mango extra mango-licious: Professional-level snuggler with built-in heater functionality Gives the kind of soulful stares that make you question everything else in life Zero chaos, 100% chill—perfect for couch dates and slow morning walks Knows how to take up space and your heart A lover, not a barker—unless you’re late with dinner, in which case, fair game Mango is not here for drama. She’s here for love, snacks, belly rubs, and maybe a soft couch with her name on it. She’s a survivor, a softie, and a total sweetheart who’s ready for her happily-ever-after. Ready to give this queen the life she’s always deserved? Come meet Mango. Warning: You will fall in love. 🐶💕

Story
Meet Hazel — the adorable little plot twist life keeps sending back our way. This is her third cameo in our care over the last two years, and honestly… she deserves a season finale with a happy ending already. Her journey? • Round 1: Arrived injured, got adopted. • Round 2: Went on a mini adventure, got loose, owner came back. • Round 3: Her most recent owner — a homeless man who truly adored her — has been hospitalized and can’t care for her anymore. Through it all, Hazel has stayed sweet, steady, and full of heart. Now she’s running out of time, and we’re hoping someone sees just how special she is. Hazel is leash-up-and-go perfection. No jumping, no mouthing, no “notice me!!” chaos — just a polite, gentle girl who loves her walkies and enjoys a good sniff around the yard at her own pace. In playgroups, she’s a total gem. She vibes beautifully with gentle, playful male and female dogs and would shine brightest in a semi-active home that gives her a nice mix of fun and chill. Hazel’s story has had enough plot twists. Let’s give her the stable, loving chapter she’s been waiting for. 💛🏡

Story
Adopt Tommy Pickles If you’re looking for a dog who will steal your heart in under 10 seconds, meet Tommy Pickles. This handsome boy is the pure definition of resilience wrapped in love, loyalty, and a whole lot of adorableness. While in his foster home, we learned that Tommy is deaf and has an old, healed lumbosacral fracture likely the result of past trauma. This injury causes him to be a little wobbly in his hind end, giving him the cutest, most endearing wiggle and bunny hops you’ve ever seen. His neurological quirks don’t slow him down one bit they’re simply part of who he is. Tommy is currently learning how to communicate through a vibration collar, and he’s picking it up beautifully. He’s smart, eager to learn, and so incredibly sweet. His foster describes him as the most innocent big puppy you’ll ever meet, a boy who has every reason to give up, yet chooses joy every single day. Tommy’s Highlights: • Deaf but learning communication with a vibration collar • Loves other dogs & adores his people even more • Sweet, goofy, and wildly endearing • His little tongue often hangs out the side of his mouth and yes, it is as cute as it sounds • Despite his past, he radiates pure love and trust Tommy has endured more in his short life than many dogs ever will, yet he remains soft, hopeful, and ready for his forever. He doesn’t need pity he needs someone who sees him for the incredible soul he is. Tommy deserves his happy ending a family who will love his differences, celebrate his victories, and never let him feel unwanted again. If you’ve been waiting for a sign… this wobbly, tongue-out, heart-of-gold Rottie is it. Age: 1 year old Weight: 80lbs Breed: Rottweiler Location: Oakdale

Story
Bandit is a sweet senior who wants nothing more than your love. He is the perfect combination of sweet and shy that makes your heart melt. While his pictures make him look big, he is actually a pocket sized rottweiler mix at about 55 pounds. He loves his trusted humans unconditionally and wants to shadow you whenever he can. Bandit is guaranteed to add lots of love, kisses and cuddles to your life. Where there is warmth you will find Bandit; warmth from the sun, from a heater, from a fur friend or from a human. He sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog and will plop himself on your lap for a nap, taking comfort in being with his human. Check out Bandit's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwlJxEafkJcZ23qSb8i_8EPM He loves to play with his foster sister and sometimes looks quite goofy, which just adds to his charming personality. He is crate-trained, fully house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is highly treat motivated and is learning in foster care to do things like sit, lay down, stay, be a gentleman, and wait. Bandit has lived with small dogs, dogs his size, adult men, and adult women and has done well with all. He does take a moment to warm up to new people, sounds, and places. Bandit has a few health issues going on that sometimes impact his behavior. He has hip dysplasia, hyperthyroidism, arthritis, and early stage kidney disease. While 99% of the time Bandit is an absolute sweetheart, if any of his medication is off, if he overdoes his physical exercise, or if he is feeling anxious he may growl or snap. Because of this, Bandit should only be adopted by an experienced dog handler. Bandit is currently on thyro-tabs, joint supplements, and anti-anxiety medication. The cost of all of his medication is less than $100 per month. Bandit deserves his forever family. If that might be you, be sure to fill out an adoption application: https://betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application/ Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.
