Despite recently losing a rear leg, Poodle embodies hope and happiness- his gentle tail wags and warm, loving eyes show just how sweet he truly is. Poodle recently took an overnight trip to a volunteer`s home. These are the notes from their slumber party-`Poodle was such a joy to have in my home. He settled in well and immediately understood when I made a bed for him. He walked right over and laid down. He is completely potty trained with zero accidents, which is huge. He also slept through the entire night on my bed without any issues and loves to snuggle, especially resting his head on you.He enjoys being close to his person, chewing on bones, playing with toys, and running around when you engage with him. He likes laying outside in the sun and was great during bath time. He stood calmly and let me wash him without resistance.He was unsure in the car, likely because he can’t jump in on his own and needs help getting in and out. A lower vehicle or ramp would probably help with that.Poodle is bravely healing from surgery and learning to navigate the world on three legs, always greeting each day with a joyful attitude. He enjoys short, easy walks and is perfectly content lounging in the yard, peacefully socializing next to other dogs.
