Story
Meet Willow, a sweet adult dog who is as independent as she is brave. She's incredibly smart, which shines through in her playful antics and loyal demeanor. Willow thrives in a quiet home environment where she can enjoy her own space and time and would do well with a mature adult person or couple and no young children. She gets along well with cats, but can be selective with her canine companions so being an only dog is an option. Willow is eager to be part of a family again and have her own home, and she is a good watchdog who will alert you if a stranger comes to your home.. Willow lived her first few years with a retired couple and slept in their bed with them. Sadly her daddy became ill and they had to rehome her. Despite her independent spirit, Willow still loves to engage in walks on her leash and other fun activities and to show her affectionate side to those she trusts. She will spend her day on your lap watching tv. She is housetrained and knows how to use a dog door to let herself outside to potty, lay in the sun or play in the water in her kiddie pool. She would make an ideal companion for those seeking a loyal and playful friend. Willow's unique blend of sweetness, friendliness, and independence, coupled with her bravery and loyalty, makes her a wonderful choice for adoption. Adoption fee is $250. Story
⚾ Meet Rickey Henderson ⚾ 2 years old • 65 lbs • Rottweiler mix Don't let Rickey's serious face fool you—this boy doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Behind those soulful eyes is a goofy, gentle dog whose tail seems to have only one speed: wagging. Rickey is the perfect mix of playful and well-mannered. He knows basic commands, walks beautifully on a leash, is house trained, crate trained, and has quickly become a favorite everywhere he goes. Sadly, Rickey's story didn't start this way. He arrived at an overcrowded shelter as a stray and spent months watching other dogs leave while he stayed behind. Volunteers and staff loved him, but Rickey had two things working against him. As a black and brindle dog housed in one of the very last kennels on the final row, many visitors never even made it far enough to meet him. Those who did may have mistaken his serious expression for an intimidating personality. Eventually, Rickey ran out of time. When The Comeback Pack got the call, it wasn't because Rickey had finally found a family. It was because he was out of options. We were asked to step in as a last chance—to give this incredible dog the opportunity he never got at the shelter. When we met Rickey, he was a little reserved. After months of watching everyone else get chosen, why would he believe we were there for him? But we were. The moment Rickey walked into his foster home, his comeback began. His tail started wagging... and it hasn't stopped since. The serious expression melted away, revealing the sweetest, happiest, most affectionate boy you could hope to meet. He loves to snuggle, has wonderful house manners, and approaches life with a quiet, gentle confidence that makes everyone fall in love with him. Rickey has done wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him an easy addition to almost any family. He doesn't always have the best manners with tiny tots, so kids over 10 are best! His name couldn't be more fitting. Named after baseball legend Rickey Henderson—the greatest leadoff hitter and stolen base king of all time—our Rickey has a talent of his own. He may not steal bases, but he steals hearts everywhere he goes. Rickey is a perfect ambassador for The Comeback Pack. He reminds us exactly why second chances matter. We said yes when he had nowhere else to go. Now we're looking for the family who will say yes to him forever. Rickey has made his comeback. Now he's ready to come home.

Story
I’m Bruce. Goofy, Hungry, and Ready to Be Your Best Decision.I'm currently in California. My bags are packed, I’m ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I’ll travel to you! I’m the kind of dog who makes you laugh without trying. Big smile. Silly energy. A little clumsy in the best way. I’ve got that Boxer vibe in me, or at least that goofy charm that makes people say it. I’m friendly. I’m sweet. I like people. I’m the dog who walks into a room like we’re already friends. Let’s get one thing out of the way. I love food. A lot. Meals, treats, snacks, crumbs. If it’s edible, I’m interested. It makes training easy though. You’ve got snacks, I’ve got focus. I’m a strong boy too. Not out of control, just solid. I need someone who’s comfortable handling a dog with some muscle. I’ll do great with structure, guidance, and regular exercise. My skin looks pretty good now, but I may have had some irritation in the past, maybe fleas or something that needed time to heal. It’s not slowing me down. I just might need someone who keeps an eye on it and stays on top of care. I don’t come with a list of issues. I come with personality. I come with love. I come with a goofy face that makes bad days better. I’m Bruce.Bring the snacks. I’ll bring the fun. ##2650784##
