Story
Chongers is a 2-year-old rottweiler-doberman mix with a heart as big as his name.  Despite being abandoned with 2 other siblings, this handsome boy hasn't lost his love for people. Don't let his strong appearance fool you!  Chonger is truly a softie at heart.  He's affectionate, loyal and loves nothing more than leaning into you for cuddles.  All he wants is someone who will love him as much as he loves back.  With a little structure and a lot of love, he'll thrive in a home.  He would do best with someone who understands big breeds and can give him the attention and companionship he craves.  Since Chongers' history is unknown, we're not sure how he does with other animals or young children; so slow introductions and a patient, experienced adopter would be ideal.  Chongers' adoption fee is $200 which includes his neuter, microchipping and all vaccinations. For more information on Chongers, please call Chrissy at VMSG (949) 201-4100 or to fill out an application for adoption, visit www.greendogfoundation.org and thank you for looking to rescue!October 20, 2025, 8:26 pm

Click Here to Sponsor Me!  Adoption APPLICATION: Muttsinneed.org/adoption-application   ** Application must be completed prior to a meet & greet.                                   Our Adoption Process:Muttsinneed.org/adoption-process   There is never a dull day with Marty McFly! This happy-go-lucky, 50-pound boy is just under 2 years old and is the definition of an "A+ student." He picks up on commands incredibly fast—especially if treats are involved—and is a dream with kids and every dog he meets. Whether he’s giving out kisses or sitting politely for a snack, Marty is the outgoing, curious companion every active family dreams of. However, Marty has a secret: he’s tired of being told how "great" he is. He has been waiting for his forever home since he was just 8 months old. While he’s heard "he’ll get adopted fast" more times than he can count, he is still waiting for the person who will actually take him home. After over a year of being the perfect dog in foster care, Marty is ready to stop being the "available" dog and finally be your dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful partner who loves everyone and everything, Marty McFly has his bags packed and is ready to go. You can apply to finally end his wait at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html .  February 16, 2026, 1:49 am

Story
Meet Trixie 💖 Born around December 15, 2025, Trixie is an adorable, rambunctious puppy with confidence for days. She’s the kind of pup who fearlessly explores the world—then immediately melts your heart by flipping on her puppy charm and those irresistible sad puppydog eyes. Trixie has a great head start on training, but she’s still very much a baby. She’ll thrive with an adopter who’s patient, consistent, and ready to guide her through puppyhood with love. She doesn’t love being alone just yet, so her ideal home is with someone who’s home most of the day to help her feel secure as she keeps learning. She adores other dogs and is enthusiastically figuring out social skills—like the important lesson that not every dog appreciates having their ears chewed on (she’s learning, promise!). Trixie has been well socialized, sleeps through the night, and brings a joyful, playful energy wherever she goes. We believe Trixie may be a pit bull–shepherd mix, though that’s just our best guess. She was rescued from a dangerous area with many stray dogs, and despite that rough start, she’s blossomed beautifully. She’s tiny right now, but we estimate she’ll grow to around 50 pounds. If you’re looking for a sweet, spunky, people-loving puppy and you’re ready for the time and commitment a young dog deserves, Trixie might just be your perfect match. 💕

Story
Meet Cake, a Boxer mix puppy who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Rescued alongside her sister Brownie, Cake is now learning what it means to feel safe, cared for, and loved and shes embracing it with enthusiasm. Cake is the slightly more confident of the two, often taking the lead during playtime, but shes also incredibly affectionate. She loves toys, cuddles, and giving kisses, and she adores being close to her people. Shes doing great with potty training, knows how to use potty pads, rides well in the car, and is remarkably well behaved for a young rescue puppy. Cake is friendly with other dogs and eager to keep learning as she grows. She would love to stay with Brownie, but shes also confident enough to thrive in a loving home of her own.
