Story
Quana is a gorgeous Rottweiler/Pit Bull mix! She's going to a big girl, weighing in at 41 pounds at 4 months old. This stunning, beautiful girl is very sweet and playful, does great on leash, and sleeps quietly in her kennel at night! She is still working on potty training (so normal for her age!). Quana loves to chew, which is a wonderful self-soothing behavior for pups, so she will need a home that knows how to provide her healthy access to the right things to chew on. She does like to jump and can be a bit mouthy, which is also very normal for a pup her age, and she would probably do great with consistent redirection to appropriate activities. ADOPTION FEE: $550 We are a foster-based rescue and do not generally have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
**Mollie is a board and train dog through Brighter Days.  Please read all about this before applying to adopt** Mollie is a 2 year old Rottie mix Mollie was surrendered to Brighter Days Dog Resue because her previous owners had never taken the time to train her properly.  Becuase of this she was surrendered to Brighter Days to find a family who actually has the time and dedication a 4-legged companion needs.  When an adult dog comes to us lacking any sort of training we immediately get them into our board and train program.  One of the main reasons dogs get euthanized in an overcrowded shelter is due to lack of training.  When we started Brighter Days we made a commitment that we would make sure every single Brighter Days Dog would be set up for a life time of success, which includes training.  Our trainer works so hard to get these dogs to be wonderful, stable, balanced, obedient, great dogs.  To make sure their hard work is not lost over time due to owners who don't continue the training, we require each one of our adopters who is adopting a board and train dog to take our trainers classes in longmont.  It is an eight week course that is usually $300, but for Brighter Days adopters it is free! Here is what our Trainer has to say about Mollie: Mollie is a high energy, hilarious, sweet and affectionate dog. Mollie will need daily exercise, so an active home is best for her, a home that enjoys walking, running, hiking, etc. Also she needs a house with a big yard and a fully enclosed with a 6 foot privacy fence. She is an awesome dog and will be perfect for the right, active family.  We are going to require Molly goes to a home without other dogs, cats, and kids just to make sure she is set up for success.   If you are inerested in adopting Mollie please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1403699##

Story
Hi! My name is Midnight! I am a spunky 7 month old, female, Rottweiler/Pit mix. I weigh about 55 lbs and am almost full grown. My mama (a purebred rottweiler) gave birth to me while under the care of Mile High Canine Rescue. I am such a happy girl! Got kiddos? Sweet!! I LOVE them! Got other dogs? Oh yeah…playmates!!! I would really love a home with another dog, so if your dog needs a best pal to play with all the time…I am your girl!! At night, I enjoy relaxing with my peeps and watching a good TV show (Netflix bingeing anyone?) and then sleeping quietly in my foster mama’s bedroom. Did I also mention I am crate trained and housebroken? I even use a dog door. I do have a lot of energy, so a fenced yard is a must for me. I really love being here in Colorado (my mom was from Texas) and would really thrive being a part of a family that hikes, camps, runs or is otherwise active. I can totally keep up! I walk pretty darn well on my no-pull front harness too! I know a few basic commands and I am very food motivated so I am totally up to learn more. Gosh, I sound AWESOME! Oh…and you should check out my tail…it is super long…like I can’t believe how long it is! LOL! But better to happy tail wag with! Midnight is in foster in Denver, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/midnight/. Story
Nugget and Milkshake are 6 yr old Rotties and were likely a breeding pair who have been grossly over fed and need someone to help them get slim and trim and get to a healthy weight to live their best life! They're the sweetest things you'll ever meet! They're friendly, listen well, and need to be given a great life! They do not need to be adopted together. They're happy to find a home alone, or with new friends, or in a home together (if you're thinking two is better than one)! Come meet them in Windsor!
