Story
**Mollie is a board and train dog through Brighter Days.  Please read all about this before applying to adopt** Mollie is a 2 year old Rottie mix Mollie was surrendered to Brighter Days Dog Resue because her previous owners had never taken the time to train her properly.  Becuase of this she was surrendered to Brighter Days to find a family who actually has the time and dedication a 4-legged companion needs.  When an adult dog comes to us lacking any sort of training we immediately get them into our board and train program.  One of the main reasons dogs get euthanized in an overcrowded shelter is due to lack of training.  When we started Brighter Days we made a commitment that we would make sure every single Brighter Days Dog would be set up for a life time of success, which includes training.  Our trainer works so hard to get these dogs to be wonderful, stable, balanced, obedient, great dogs.  To make sure their hard work is not lost over time due to owners who don't continue the training, we require each one of our adopters who is adopting a board and train dog to take our trainers classes in longmont.  It is an eight week course that is usually $300, but for Brighter Days adopters it is free! Here is what our Trainer has to say about Mollie: Mollie is a high energy, hilarious, sweet and affectionate dog. Mollie will need daily exercise, so an active home is best for her, a home that enjoys walking, running, hiking, etc. Also she needs a house with a big yard and a fully enclosed with a 6 foot privacy fence. She is an awesome dog and will be perfect for the right, active family.  We are going to require Molly goes to a home without other dogs, cats, and kids just to make sure she is set up for success.   If you are inerested in adopting Mollie please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1403699##

Story
Hi, I`m Artemis! I`m a lovely lady who needs to be adopted with my best buddy ever, Buster Moon (909252) - we`re bonded! I can be shy and timid, but my previous family says once I am comfortable with someone, I love to snuggle and burrow. I also can show you sit, stay, lay, kennel, and shake! I can be nervous around other dogs, strangers, and kids, so I need an adopter without children and I would need to meet any other dogs that you already have before adoption. If you`re looking for a dynamic duo - me, the perfect couch potato cuddler, and my younger brother, the playful and bouncy guy - then we would be thrilled to go home with you today!

Story
Zamboni is a gentle, sensitive pup looking for a calm and compassionate forever home where he can feel safe and secure. This petite Rottweiler-Shepherd mix can be shy at first, especially around new people or children, and he does best when given time and space to build trust at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, his warm and loyal personality begins to shine. Since arriving in foster care in mid-February, Zamboni has made wonderful progress. He’s fully house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. He already knows commands like sit and down, and he’s currently working on stay. He’s intelligent, treat-motivated, and picks up new skills quickly, which has made his training both effective and rewarding. Though he has a mellow and observant side, Zamboni is still very much a puppy at heart. He loves to play fetch, chew on toys, and has a bit of a mischievous streak—he’s been known to stealthily sneak off with a sock when no one’s looking. He also excels at toy surgery, especially when it comes to removing squeakers. Despite these playful antics, he’s incredibly affectionate and enjoys quiet moments cuddled up beside his favorite humans. He can often be found relaxing on a dog bed or dozing off with his head draped over the edge of the couch. Zamboni does well with other dogs after a proper introduction and has also done well around cats. With consistent positive reinforcement and a gentle, patient approach, he continues to gain confidence every day. Zamboni is ready to bond deeply with someone who will give him the time he needs to flourish. If you're looking for a smart, loyal, and loving companion with a big heart and a soft spirit, Zamboni may be the perfect match for you. ##2301505##

Story
Gimme an L! Gimme a U! Gimme another L! Gimme a U! What does that spell? LULU — your future furry MVP! Hey there, paw-some people! I’m Lulu, a one-year-old bundle of spirit, sass, and snuggles — and yep, I’m a Christmas baby, so I come with holiday cheer built right in! I'm sweet, silly, and full of pep — think of me as your four-legged cheer squad, ready to pump up your day with love and laughter!  I’m a total team player — I love humans, doggies, AND even those cool cats. I’ve got energy to spare, so if you need a running buddy, I’m your girl! After a good workout, I’m all about cozy couch cuddles with my people or furry teammates.  Sniffy walks? YES, please! I could lead the scent squad with my nose to the ground and my tail in the air!  But wait — the best part? I’d love to have a fun-loving, playful dog sibling to run drills and wrestle moves with all day long. I thrive on friendship, fetch, and good vibes! So if you’re looking for a high-energy, fun-loving, full-of-joy pup to cheer you on through life, bring me home and let’s make every day a pep rally! ##1972842##
