Story
Hi there, I'm Buster. I'm 20lbs at only 14 weeks old and my fosters think I may be a Rotty mix. I was picked up by code enforcement in La Junta CO. I'm a typical happy-go-lucky puppy and would be a great addition to most any family. I'm almost potty trained and would love another friend in the home to play with. I like to think I'm the biggest in the room and need another friend since my sis found a home! Reach out to learn more!

Can you afford the financial responsibility of a dog — including food, vet care, preventatives, and grooming? Does your housing allow dogs, and are there any breed or size restrictions? Does anyone in your household have allergies to pets? Do you have the time, energy, and commitment to provide daily care, exercise, and affection for the next 10–15 years? These dogs are not to be chained or left outside. Each one deserves to live indoors with love, safety, and companionship. Story
Peaches is an affectionate female Rottweiler who will be approximately 3 years old in September. She enjoys attention, walks, outdoor time, and being close to people. She needs a safe, patient, stable home where she will receive consistent meals, fresh water, exercise, affection, and a dependable bathroom routine. Peaches is being rehomed because her current living situation is no longer safe or suitable for her. She deserves an experienced, loving owner who understands Rottweilers and will treat her gently and make her part of the family. Please be prepared to answer questions about your household, other pets, experience with large dogs, housing, and veterinary plans. Her medical, vaccination, training, and behavior history will be discussed honestly before placement. Serious, responsible adopters or verified rescues only.

Story
Will is the true companion - he is the one that will go on walks and hikes but will also be perfectly happy sitting and doing a puzzle with you or reading a book. He prioritizes being with his people and wrestling with his brother. He is an extremely happy guy with the most soulful eyes, who enjoys adventuring and is doing well with house training and leash walking. Will is generally mellow and enjoys taking naps outside, playing with his brother, eating, and chasing balls. He loves having something to snuggle with and plays with his people, makes them feel important, and listens. He enjoys playing with other dogs once he knows them (like our dog in his foster home), but is cautious about other dogs he does not know and very polite with them. He is a true joy and will love you unconditionally. Will is a dream guy and will make an absolutely amazing family dog! The results are in: Shepherd, Rottweiler, Lab with many others mixed in! **Will is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped in October by LSC.

Story
Marshall is our resident social butterfly. He has never met another dog or person he has not loved. He is all about being your sidekick! Marshall is the adventurer of the group - always ready for an outing or a hike or a walk, and with his tall and lanky build, he can go for miles. He loves to play and to cuddle, and really just wants to be with his people more than anything else (except maybe playing with another dog!). He loves other dogs and people of all ages, and he is very enthusiastic about having a playmate! He is thoughtful, enjoys playing outside, and loves getting snuggles. He is the first one to meet you at the door or to run across the yard to greet you, and already seems to know what people need from him. He is amazing with all aspects of puppy-dom! He is doing really well with house training, has learned sit, and walks on a leash. He is very intelligent and seems to have an intrinsic thoughtfulness. He is simply amazing! The results are in: Shepherd, Rottweiler, Lab with other breeds mixed in for good measure! **Marshall will be neutered and microchipped by LSC in October

Story
Buffy is sweet, full of life and love and looking for her new family. Guessed to be a 4.5 yr old Boxer/Pitbull mix, and around 35 lbs, she is always happy and smiling, ready to play and then chill with some belly rubs. Buffy is good with dogs, so smart and sweet, she would love to snuggle up with a person who’s looking for a little lady to pass the time. Sadly she was returned to us after her mom passed away. She was not cat reactive when meeting a feline friend, but a proper intro should still be done. Come and meet this sweetie in Wellington!
