Story
Harley is a 2 year old Rottweiler that weighs around 65 lbs. He is a huge love bug with unique traits. He was found as a stray in California with an awkward walk as his legs wobble. Vets have determined that he is happy and healthy and will always walk in a way that matches his personality, totally goofy. He likely has neurological damage. This sweet and fun boy loves everyone and enjoys snuggles, playing, and going on shorter walks. He is potty trained and a quiet boy. He is a wonderful brother that loves other dogs and sometimes is confused why he can't fit in their beds with them! This handsome fellow will follow you everywhere and do everything he can to make you happy and give you all of his love, licks and all!!

Story
Nutmeg is a beautiful Rottweiler mix that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs.  She is guessed to be around 3 years old.   She has had a challenging life and deserves nothing but the best Furever Home. She has a very young playful energy. She loves people and enjoys being cuddled. She is fully kennel trained and loves her kennel. She loves to be out in the dog run and is potty trained at her foster mom's house.  She is pretty good on the leash but because of her size and strength, she will need someone that will continue to put in the time to train her basic obedience. There are lots of other dogs at her foster moms house so we know she is dog friendly, her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced properly.  She is pretty big and strong so her foster mom thinks she would do better in a home with adults or older kids only. She will need an adopter who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl, who has gone through a lot, as a part of your new family. She deserves all the love in the world and will give you a lifetime of love. She has so much love to give and is looking for her FurEver Home. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter who is willing to help her with basic obedience training either with in person, or virtual training session(s). She will provide a discount on training.  The amount of training needed will depend on the knowledge and experience of the adopter and how far along Nutmeg is at the time of adoption.

Story
Hi, I am Sooki. I am a sweet, gentle, loving and beautiful young lady looking for a home. I like to play with rope toys, cuddle and chew on bones. I can be fearful of new places and can be overwhelmed without my human friends around so I need a home without kids that can work with me and be patient as I build confidence and become a part of their family. I don`t like to share my stuff with other dogs so I would do best in a home without other dogs. I would love to meet you and become your best friend.

Story
We rescued Elsie from the humane society two years ago, and love her dearly. She is a gentle female dog who embodies loyalty, sweetness, and a love for attention. With a low-energy demeanor, she's happiest by your side, reveling in affectionate moments. Elsie's loyalty shines brightest in her bond with her humans, though she can be particular about her dog friends, preferring quality over quantity in canine companionship. Elsie is also more comfortable in the company of adults or older kids. We have made the difficult decision to find a new home for Elsie, as our household now includes an active toddler whose needs are different from what Elsie is accustomed to. Please reach out and let’s find my sweet girl a new, loving home!

Story
Phillip is a 95 lbs, 1-2 year old, natural tail, Rottweiler. He’s a fun loving boy and he wants us to be sure and tell you that his forever home must have an endless supply of tennis balls. A fetch machine would be a plus, too (although a human arm with stamina to keep throwing a ball will do). Phillip was surrendered to a local CO shelter because he wrestled too hard with the human kids in his home (not his fault, they owned him from the time he was a pup and encouraged rough play). According to Phillip’s prior family he is great with dogs but prefers they leave his ball alone. Phillip is crate trained, house trained, and uses a doggie door. The shelter recommended him for a home with kids at 16+, but the foster kids in his present foster home are 14 and up and he’s awesome with them. Phillip is extremely toy motivated which will make additional training a breeze! Phillip is in foster in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/phillip. Story
Reece is a sweet Bernese Mountain Dog. She was with a breeder and she may not have been socialized much with people as she can be a little aloof. She does like her dog friends! She also likes peanut butter Kongs and stealing tennis shoes. As she gets comfortable, she will gain more confidence. She will want to be part of the family. Reece is most comfortable with older kids (teenagers). Priority will be given to dog-savvy applicants who have a playful dog and a yard. She will be 3 years old this summer.
