Flint is a big, handsome boy with a strong presence and an even stronger sweet side. He can look a little intimidating at first, especially when he jumps up on his kennel, but don’t let that fool you — he’s truly a gentle soul. Flint just needs a little time to warm up, and once he does, his affectionate nature shines through. He absolutely loves other dogs — big dogs, small dogs, and even puppies — and does great having canine friends. One of his favorite comforts is a squeaky toy ball, which he’s happiest keeping in his kennel. Flint would do best with someone patient who can see past first impressions and give him the chance to show the loving, loyal companion he really is.

The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. 6 yrs old~ Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations On HW prevention House trained, Crate trained, Good leash manners, Knows Sit, Come, Door Manners, Kennel, Leave-it Good with most dogs , best paired with a female unless you have heavy breed experience Good with all the people he has met Good with children over 10 No small animals, or Cats No livestock Doesn't need an overly active lifestyle. He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. If you would like to Foster, also please reach out! We supply everything!

I’ve got him from Manatee County animal shelter in Palmetto, Florida, and had him for about one year and four months approximately.I am busy with my schedule and don’t have time to cater to him anymore. Unfortunately, however I am looking for a better place for him that way he can be happy. He is about six years old just turned six recently April 6 of 2026. He is very kind and affectionate towards others as he may seem a little excited when meeting new people. On the other hand I do recommend if anyone is interested may the person be experienced with dogs as he is a little rough in certain areas. If training to be around other dogs please be cautious because he is aggressive when meeting them I would recommend a highly trained professional just for interaction with other dogs and behavioral issues at times. Like I said again I just don’t have the time to cater and be present to him where it matters most thank you.
