Story
This majestic boy is Lincoln. He’s an awesome guy with a big personality. He loves to ride in the car, run and play outside, and afterwards, curl up at your feet for a nap. He’s a very smart boy and he’s food driven so he learns things pretty easily and pretty quickly. Lincoln is 6 years old, he was born March 7, 2020. He has been a wonderful companion for me, but unfortunately 3 of my kids have eczema and we are very confident that Lincoln is causing their flare ups. I would also like to mention that I checked the box that says he’s not good with kids, and that’s not completely accurate. He has been around small kids his entire life and he has never taken it too far, but he does seem a bit uncomfortable or on edge at times around the smaller kids. He has also given them warning growls to back off. My oldest two are 9 and 10. They spend time with him giving him treats and food and throwing a ball for him. Lincoln is my guy and this is very difficult for our family.

Story
Diesel is a 5-6 year old Rottie Love. Current weight about 80 lbs.  Sadly, like so many large dogs, he lived his life as a lawn ornament, living his whole life outside. His owners could no longer afford to take care of their pets and surrendered them both to the shelter. The little dog whom was allowed to live in the home was adopted while Diesel sat at the shelter too long and was placed on the euthanasia list. Diesel is blind! We don’t know if he has always been or if this is a newer situation. What we know is that he loves being around people. He smells you, he rubs his face into you to greet you, and often times will melt on the ground in a happy puddle when you give him belly rubs. He is enjoying spending these cold winter days/nights inside a safe and warm foster home. He enjoys time in his fenced in yard playing with his foster puppy friends. He enjoys walks on leash, car rides and just spending time with his foster family. He will walks into walls, walks with a little reservation, but just needs a little extra guidance on leash. Diesel is uptodate on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. He had bloodwork, heartworm test negative and the vet confirmed he is completely blind. We would love to see Diesel is a forever home where they can be his guide as he navigates through his final chapters in life. This boy deserves his happy ever after. AmazingMuttsAndWiggleButts.org adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms .To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##2636661##

Story
Rocco was bred from pure blood. He is friendly and funny. He was raised in a loving environment. I’m including a few top extra things. An expensive large cage, several top notch toys and vest and leash. Registration papers. Well groomed. Nail grinder and steaming brush included. Paid $1500.00 dollars for him initially as a puppy 4 weeks old. My wife became very ill and require all our attention and care. I’m heartbroken to have to get rid of such a great dog but it must be done for my wife’s health. He was initially acquired as a Service Dog for a Disabled Veteran. He comes with several other additional items including eating stand and training collar. Would like to at least recap some handling and training fees which is why we requested $500.00 or best offer.adoption fees.

Story
LOOKING FOR A GOOD LEADER:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 61 lbs. Hi, my name is Doc! I originally came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and was adopted for a while, but it turned out not to be the right fit so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for the right home!  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot!  I’m currently in a great foster home while I wait for my furever family to find me. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I liked playing with the other dogs I met in the prison/foster training program and I like the dog in my foster home - when I’m finished playing, I’ll just lie down.  In my former home, I went to doggie daycare at times and enjoyed that, and I think I’d benefit from having another doggie in my new home, so if you have a dog that would like a friend, let’s meet! / I got along with the cat in my former home though I did chase at times, but they reported it was not aggressively. All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would be with another cat. / I met some teenagers at the bus stop with my foster and liked them, so if you have kids 15+ and older, let’s meet and kids should not walk me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a nice dog who is looking for a nice, dog-savvy family to give me good leadership and clear rules.  I’m a smart pup with working-breed traits, so I’ll thrive with plenty of mental stimulation and things to keep my brain busy.  I have a bit of neck sensitivity, so it’s best not to grab my collar suddenly.  There were 2 minor bites in the past, but I always give clear warning signs first.  My trainer will be glad to explain this and share tips to help set us up for success.  I’m affectionate with most people, a little selective with others, and sometimes get mouthy when I play.  With the right guidance, I’ll be a loyal, loving companion who just needs someone to believe in me. So, if you’re looking for a dog to be active with and you enjoy training as well as being a good leader to your dog, we could be a great fit!  / My energy level was 3-5 in the prison/foster training program, so a nice 30-minute walk when out to potty along with mental stimulation such as puzzle toys seems to be what I need. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash walking manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  I really enjoy my training, and I’ve recently started training to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, which is a 10-skill program that teaches dogs good manners at home and in the community.  In addition to my MMU training, I’ve learned the ‘wait’, ‘off’, and ‘give’ commands and I’m currently working on my recall using a whistle.  I’m excited to keep learning and showing off my best manners as I work toward this goal!  I have also been to 2 additional Mostly Mutts after adoption training classes and together we can continue my training with the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for all their rescue dogs. / My crate manners were good in the prison/foster training program and were also good in my former home. / My potty manners were good in the prison/foster training program and are good in my foster home, too.  I notify my foster that I need to go potty by sitting and pawing at the door. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like spending time with people, playing puzzle games and mental stimulation with toys and training together.  I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things we’ll like doing together, too! / As mentioned above, I’ve struggled with collar reactivity and there have been a select few people I didn’t care for. I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.   • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  Not long after my initial rescue as a puppy, it was discovered that I was born with Legg-Perthes Disease and needed double FHO surgery. Thanks to the great care I received, I had my surgery, completed my recovery and physical therapy, and am doing really well!  I am taking an over-the-counter joint supplement called Cosequin to keep my joints feeling their best. I am looking for a wonderful and loving home with a great family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  March 8, 2026, 7:16 am

Story
We got him from a shelter in Virginia beach. He is 3 and will be 4 in October. We just want him to be happy and have more than enough room to run and play. He loves sticks and really any toy, he stays to himself. He is good with dogs. He is trained in English and spanish. He is a sweet boy. Very smart, loves walks and playing tug of war.
