Meet Atlas! 🐾 If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his people, Atlas might just steal your heart! Atlas hasn’t had the easiest beginning. Originally known as Hammy, he came into animal control as part of a cruelty case. Although we don’t know all the details of his past, we know one thing for certain: it hasn’t stopped him from being an incredibly loving boy. Cuddling is Atlas’s favorite activity! He loves being close to his humans, soaking up affection, and making himself right at home beside you. And those adorable ears? They’re impossible to resist! Atlas is also a playful, social pup who enjoys spending time with other dogs. His foster family reports that he’s wonderful with children and friendly with everyone he meets. He’s interested in cats, too, although he’s still learning to respect their boundaries. He’s making great progress with crate training and potty training. He’s getting the hang of both, but occasional accidents still happen, so he’ll need a patient family willing to continue helping him learn. Despite everything he’s been through, Atlas continues to show just how much love he has to give. Atlas doesn’t need a perfect family. He just needs a family who will love him forever. Born, we believe, in 2023 and currently weighing about 57 pounds, she has an athletic build, a gorgeous coat, and an even more beautiful personality! Shannon is sweet, friendly, and loves spending time with both people and other dogs. She has a playful spirit, enjoys being active, and would love a family that will include her on daily walks, hikes, or other adventures. After a day of fun, she's just as happy to relax and be by your side. This smart girl is house-trained, crate-trained, and was professionally trained at Rucker's Dog Training, where she learned excellent manners and many commands. She walks beautifully on a leash and is eager to please, making her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a well-behaved dog. Shannon's story began with uncertainty. She was found as a stray and brought to Walton Animal Control, where her future was far from guaranteed. Thankfully, we were able to rescue her just in time. Now all she needs is the one thing she has never truly had--a loving forever home. Shannon has so much love to give and is ready to share her loyal heart with a family of her own. Stella is a very loving dog. Had her since birth and is house trained pretty well. She’s never scared my child or got aggressive towards him nor me and my wife. Her shedding can get a little annoying if not brushed at least twice a week. She’s still full of energy and a really smart dog. She’s being put up for adoption because of my work schedule and limited space in my apartment. It’s a hard decision but she deserves more room to play and less time spent in solitude. Jayda was born April 26, 2024. She just turned 2 years old. We adopted her from the Dekalb County Animal Shelter in December 2024 when she was just 7 months. According to shelter records, she was owner surrendered 1 month prior. Jayda is a shy girl but she's very sweet. She doesn't like being alone but she's very playful. Jayda needs a pet parent who will be able to spend more time with her. In our home, she's alone most of the day because we all leave for work or school, which causes anxiety for her. I'm not sure what happened to her before we adopted her. Her pet parent needs to be someone that can sit and cuddle with her most of the day.
