Whether you’re hitting the trails or just strolling through the neighborhood, she’ll be your loyal companion. When she’s in the fenced-in park, she loves a quick dash around to scope things out. Aurora has recently enjoyed doggie play groups at the shelter, and had a great time running with the other dogs. Afterwards, this laid-back lady loves nothing more than chilling by your side, soaking up some pets and back scratches. Aurora already knows how to Sit like a pro, and is eager to add more tricks to her repertoire. This good girl just needs to find her forever person(s) who will adore her as much as she’s ready to love them. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet, and fun-loving best friend, Aurora is waiting to meet you! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.September 29, 2024, 10:30 pm

Rachel was dropped off and ended up near a volunteers house who ended up fostering her. We think she is a Rottweiler/American Bull Terrier/mix. She weighs about 35/40 pounds. She loves kids and people, but we suggest her being in a home with no other dogs as she is dog selective. Rachel is currently at a foster home and this is what the foster has to say about her: "She loves going on walks. She also likes hugs and gives doggie kisses. She'll make someone a excellent best friend. She will be eager to learn." Story
This is one of the hardest obstacles I have done in asking someone to give my sweet, fun, lovable and loyal companion a new home. Two years ago my dog Roxy was hit by a vehicle and passed away. It was a tragic event and it was so hard to believe she was gone. A stray kitten came up a week later and we brought him to a discounted vaccine clinic held by the animal shelter. They had brought some of their dogs that had been at staying in the shelter for a while. This is where we meet Tullulah. ( Lula / Lula Belle) She was only 2 months old. She is part Rotwieller, German Shepard, Lab and Golden Retriever. He weighs 79 lbs. Loves to cuddle and play with her toys. I am having to rehome her due to her not getting along with my daughter's dog. They moved in with us and Lula has gotten in to major confrontations. She has never shown aggression towards any human. Loves kids !She has had training when she was 4 months old. Can give more details if the right person is interested.
