All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon! Meet Dior! 🐾 Dior is a total sweetheart looking for his forever home. He is crate trained, house broken, and knows how to sit. Dior also loves riding in the car and makes a great travel companion. He does very well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, even though toys aren’t really his favorite. His compatibility with cats is still unknown. Dior is also wonderful with children—when his foster’s great-grandkids visited, he happily followed them around and loved being part of the action. Dior sleeps quietly in the bedroom all night and has a calm, easygoing presence in the home. He is currently working on leash manners, as he can pull when excited, and is also learning not to try to slip out when doors are open. With continued guidance and consistency, he’s sure to keep improving.
