Meet Sammie! Sammie is a 1.5 year old Rottweiler Mix pup who weighs about 40 pounds. Sammie is a happy girl who loves to be outside and play with her toys, chew on a bone, or play fetch. She's very smart and very loving, and has proven to have very good house manners! She has already learned 'sit' and 'wait' in her foster home. She is working on crate training and she's potty trained! She friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and strangers, too! Sammie's foster family is getting her accustomed to walking on a leash and harness but her forever family will need to continue helping her acclimate. We think that once she figures the whole leash thing out, she will be a great hiking, running, or walking companion. She'll help you get those daily steps in! Sammie is an easy-going girl who loves to please her humans and is excited to meet her forever family! If she seems like your new bestie, apply today! Sammie's adoption fee is $500.

I am 82lbs, 6 years old, and l am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $300 I love going on car rides. I'm house and crate trained. I've been thru some training classes and know "sit", "lay", "house", and "no". I love being petted and eager to be your lap dog. I'm good taking a bath, getting my ears cleaned, and being brushed. I'm a really good boy going to the vet. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up to date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. The shelter is currently open by appointment only with an approved application. Please note, all applications are considered general and stay on file for 6 months. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, the adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. OTIS – 4 year male. Otis is a absolutely fantastic boy. He is big boy in size but a very low key temperament. Otis would do best in a quieter home and would do well with a low key female dog his size (do not know about cats). Otis has had some obedience training and loves to go for walks. ROXY – 3 1/2 year female. We just can’t get away from the name Roxy! Our newest Roxy is on the smaller side for a female. She has certainly missed a few meals, but that will quickly change.
