Story
Nydia's Story Looking for Her Person A Gentle Rottie with a Big Heart This beautiful 3-year-old Rottweiler mix (about 72 lbs) is searching for a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. Shes a sweet, sensitive girl who may seem a little shy at first—especially around loud noises or sudden movements—but give her a little time and you'll see her true personality shine. Once shes in a comfortable space, she relaxes, explores, and will happily come over for affection. What makes her special: Walks nicely on a leash Friendly with people and enjoys gentle attention Loves to explore and be near her person Gets wiggly and excited when meeting other dogs (especially at a distance!) Shes currently a bit nervous in the shelter environment and tends to look to her people for reassurance—shes the kind of dog who will form a deep, loyal bond with her adopter. She also has the cutest habit of carrying around her stuffed duck for comfort—its her little security toy, and it melts hearts instantly. Good to know: Can be head-shy and startled by quick movements. Still building confidence May guard her favorite toy around other dogs, so thoughtful introductions and management are important. Her ideal home: A patient, understanding adopter who can help her build confidence at her own pace. A quieter home would be best, where she can continue to blossom into the loving, loyal companion shes meant to be. She doesn't need perfection—just someone willing to go slow, offer reassurance, and love her for who she is. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a gentle soul, she might just be your girl. Nydia is currently attending a board and train program and will be ready to show off her good manners to her forever family. Apply to meet her and see if you're the safe place shes been waiting for.

Hi, I'm Giada and I'm ready to find my forever home! Dog's Name: GiadaLocation: De Soto, MOAge: 3 yearsGender: FemaleBreed: RottweilerDog's Weight: 104 lbs Gets along with: Dogs?: Yes! Giada has done well with the medium and large male dogs she has met.Cats?: UnknownKids?: Yes Training: Crate Trained: Goes into her crate/kennel on command Potty Trained: Indicates when she needs to go out and doesn't have indoor accidents Basic Obedience: Knows her basic commands Meet Giada Giada is a big, beautiful Rottweiler girl with a personality to match. Her foster describes her with four pretty great words: friendly, loving, happy, and playful. At 3 years old, Giada is past the tiny puppy stage but still has plenty of fun left in her. She's an affectionate girl who enjoys being part of the action and is ready to find a family to call her own. Giada already has some great household skills under her belt. She's potty trained, crate trained, and knows her basic commands, giving her new family a wonderful foundation to build on. She's also dog-friendly and has done well with the medium and large male dogs she's met so far. Giada could happily share her home with a compatible canine friend, but she doesn't need another dog to be happy—she'd be perfectly content soaking up all the attention as an only dog, too! A fenced yard would be ideal for Giada because her recall still needs some polishing. Her foster also thinks obedience classes would be a great activity for Giada and her new person. Not only would they help strengthen her skills, they'd be a wonderful way for this sweet girl to bond with her new family. What Giada really needs now is someone ready to give a happy, playful 104-pound girl the love and commitment she deserves. Whether she ends up with a canine buddy or gets to be the queen of the castle, Giada is ready to start her next chapter. Could this big, beautiful, lovable girl be the one you’ve been waiting for? Story
Hi, I'm Rocco. I didn't expect to lose my home. Through no fault of my own, I became an owner surrender. One day I had a family, and the next I was starting over. It's been a big change, but I'm choosing to believe my next chapter will be even better than the last. Everyone who meets me says the same thing... "Rocco is the bestest boy." And honestly, I try my best to live up to that. I'm a sweet, affectionate guy who loves being around people. Whether we're going for a walk, hanging out in the yard, or just relaxing together after a long day, I'm happiest when I'm with my humans. I'm great with kids and have a gentle, loving personality that makes it easy to fall in love with me. I also do well with female dogs. With male dogs, I can be a little dominant, so slow introductions or being your one-and-only handsome guy may be the best fit for me. Right now, my rescue family is still getting to know me, and they're learning more about my personality every day. But one thing they're already certain of is this: I'm an incredibly good dog who deserves another chance. I don't dwell on where I've been. I'm looking forward to where I'm going. Maybe that's a home filled with laughter, belly rubs, and a family who promises this time will be forever. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger smile... I think we've been looking for each other. ##2775973##
