I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Prince.  This handsome boy was shot and left for dead in a dumpster.  Somehow this brave boy managed to crawl out.  When he was found he had curled up on a couch, gave up, waiting for death.  A volunteer was contacted and we rushed him to the vet. He was shot in the eye, the bullet grazed his brain and lodged in his chest.  He came in with a severe infection in both the eye.  After a week in the ICU, a plasma transfusion and eye removal he is ready for a new home.   Prince is great on a leash, absolutely loves people and is very friendly.  Playing in the water is a favorite hobby of his. However he is cat reactive and needs to be in a cat-free home.  He constantly wants to be with his people.  He will need a privacy or 6 foot fence where he can run safely. Prince was born around 11/2021 and he weighs 50 pounds.  HIs adoption fee is $300.  You can apply for Prince at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . Welcome to the cereal crew. These little beauties were surrendered to the shelter and we took them under the stipulation that we would spay the mother. So we got all of the puppies. The mother is full blooded Rottweiler but we have no idea what the father is. These little guys are cute and full of love and fun. They just need a family to love them so they can have a good chance at being a family member of a nice family that they can give all of their love to as well.
