My fiance and I adopted Lila about 5 years ago from a shelter in Ohio. She was there the longest and we loved her instantly. About 3 years ago, we made the decision to move to Fort Wayne to live with my grandfather, and he was more than happy to let us bring her. We have a fenced in yard here and she loves being outside. 6 months ago my fiancé found an opportunity down in Florida, and we made the decision for her to move down ahead of me, but we have been unable to buy a house or find a place to rent that would allow us to have her. I am moving down there by mid November and my grandfather cannot afford to keep her. She's about 10 years old now and does have joint pain, and some sort of eye infection that we haven't been able to get to fully go away. More information on that if you are interested. She can be stubborn, and hard headed. We just want to find her a loving home that can afford to help her with her medical needs better so she can be a bit more comfortable in her final years

Because of her size and energy, we recommend a home with no children under 10 years old. Cornbread would also do best in a cat-free home, and if you already have another dog, a meet and greet will be required to make sure everyone gets along. He’s a great dog he’s 2 years old and is a lover. He is good with other dogs and got along with both cats. He loves to play with his toys and ball. Likes walks but is a puller. Loves to run. We have to move our current house has black mold and other things they won’t fix. Have a baby due in a few weeks so we tried to find a place that we could bring him. Only place we found they won’t except his size or breed. This is the last thing I want to do but don’t have a choice. Just needs a loving home.
