When Sadie arrived, she was severely matted from her time with a breeder — every knot and tangle told the story of a dog who hadn’t been cared for the way she deserved. But underneath all those mats was the sweetest girl just waiting for someone to love her. We had to shave her down, and her hair is starting to grow back soft and beautiful.  Today, Sadie is blossoming in her foster home. She is a calm, gentle, and very wellbehaved doodle who wants nothing more than to please her people. Sadie loves to cuddle, relax near you, and soak up every bit of affection she can get. She gets along beautifully with her canine foster brothers and sisters, and she has shown no interest in cats. She’s starting to enjoy squeaky toys and bones, and she has been a perfect house guest — she has not chewed on anything other than her toys. Sadie loves children, hanging out on the deck, and doing joyful zoomies around the yard. She rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is learning that life can be safe, soft, and full of love.
