She walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys every chance to get out and explore. Josie was adopted once before but found herself back at the shelter a few years later — through no fault of her own. She’s ready to start fresh and find the loving forever family she’s been waiting for. She can be a little selective about her dog friends and will need a home without cats, but she more than makes up for it with her loyal, affectionate personality. This is Bambi and she would like to show you her lil teefy underbite! Bambi is a sweet girl who is still learning to trust new people and build confidence in social situations (aren't we all?). She would really benefit from an adopter who is able to go at her speed and allow her the time she needs to feel comfortable in new environments. Bambi will repay this favor with a lifetime supply of loyalty, companionship, pleasant walks, and sweet couch snuggles! Weight: 79 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Working on it! They're doing well on a schedule but will have occasional accidents in the home. Crate-trained: Unknown! They have never been crated while in our care. Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training. Dog sociability: They don't like them! They do not get along with other dogs and need to be the only dog in the home. Cat sociability: Unknown! They have never met a cat while in our care. Kid sociability: No kids, please! They are afraid of kids or reactive toward them, or they have a history of behaviors that make them incompatible with children.
