Rhode is a friendly and happy senior rescue dog. He lived with his person for 12 years and provided loving support and companionship. Unfortunately, his person recently experienced a health crisis and can no longer care for him. Rhode was also a great friend to his person's son. They shared lots of special time. Rhode was popular with residents in the high-rise where he lived for 12 years. He is quiet and enjoys meeting new people. He has arthritis but eats and drinks well. He just had a check-up and is in good shape for a senior dog. He will go out for 20-minute walks; he is easy to walk. He can go up and down carpeted steps. He seems to enjoy being in the company of my cats.

My dog Koco needs to be re homed. I currently moved back home with my parents with my 4 kids until my house is done getting renovated. Koco is a family dog and has been with our family since she’s been a puppy. She is loving, great with kids, loves outside time and loves water play. I do hope to find her a family that will love her the same way we do. She currently does need to get eye surgery, but I haven’t been able to move forward due to my situation. I am willing to pay for the full surgery and I have been getting her treatments needed until surgery can be completed. I hope I can get her with a new family soon:)

Alfalfa has so many meanings. To horse people alfalfa is a rich and green leafy food :) To dog people, Alfalfa, means ME!!! I have not lead the most "leafy" life though. I was FINALLY saved from an extreme hoarding situation - I was waiting my whole life to leave that "life" behind!! And I am SO grateful to the ladies who have taken over a year to save 65 of the 87 dogs I lived with AND are still working to get more out! I am a shy when u first meet me, but don't let that de-suade you! I will warm up and you will be so so grateful that you gave me the time to open up to you and show you my steady and grateful side, I am more of a loner than a lot of hoarding dogs are, I actually would be fine with or without another dog or cat. I am slow to trust but once I trust you I am a quiet and loving companion :) Only on my terms. I have been through a lot and just need the most wonderful, patient, laid back and quiet family!! I know you are OUT THERE!! Look onto my chocolate dreamy eyes, and get that application in! I am waiting.....
