Rhode is a friendly and happy senior rescue dog. He lived with his person for 12 years and provided loving support and companionship. Unfortunately, his person recently experienced a health crisis and can no longer care for him. Rhode was also a great friend to his person's son. They shared lots of special time. Rhode was popular with residents in the high-rise where he lived for 12 years. He is quiet and enjoys meeting new people. He has arthritis but eats and drinks well. He just had a check-up and is in good shape for a senior dog. He will go out for 20-minute walks; he is easy to walk. He can go up and down carpeted steps. He seems to enjoy being in the company of my cats.

Coco is the sweetest of girls and is looking for her forever family. She is a little shy and prefers a calm environment. She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Zuri is a 65-lb, 3.5 year-old Boxer Pitbull mix with the perfect balance of energy and calm. She loves walks, fetch, beach days, and even rolling in the snow... then happily curls up for cuddles once she has had her exercise. She adores kids (best with older ones since she is a bit clumsy) and is gentle, loyal, and affectionate. She does great with small dogs but, after past trauma with larger ones, she is more comfortable in a home without big dogs. She has been raised in the city; used to crowds, sirens, and construction, and makes the best market buddy though fireworks and loud pops scare her. She also has spent her vacations in mountains, with open fields. Above all, Zuri is a world-class snuggler who bonds instantly and loves nothing more than being close to her people.
