Story
Meet Lilly and Katie! These sweet girls are looking for a new home. Unfortunately, my friend is no longer able to keep them due to unforseen circumstances. Please help me find them a loving home. They are an energetic bonded pair, estimated to be 2 to 3 years old. The girls are mini rottweiler mixes weighing about 60 lbs. They are high energy, love everyone and good with other dogs. I am unsure about cats. Both are crate and potty trained. They will jump up on people when excited and are known explorers. A fenced yard is neccessary if they are off leash. Microchipped, spayed.

Story
Helloooo, I'm Bernadette and I am 2 years old! I am a sweet, energetic girl that is part Rottweiler and Belgian Malinois. What a combination, right? At a young age, I was exposed to farm animals, cats, dogs and kids, but I am 2 years old now and might give chase to cats... I am super smart and food motivated, so I learn really quickly! I love all kinds of toys, and I would be best suited for a family that is looking for an active companion. If you love hiking, biking, kayaking, running, anything that ends in -ing, I am the girl for you!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
Esme is a beautiful Rottweiler mix weighing about 70 pounds with the softest heart behind those soulful eyes. She’s a little timid at first and tends to keep to herself—but once you show her love, her signature booty wiggles take over and her smile says it all. Esme knows how to pose and would be perfect in any family portrait. She’s looking for someone who understands that just because she’s a Rottweiler doesn’t mean she has to be the muscle of the house—Esme wants to be the princess instead. With patience, love, and reassurance, she’ll be the most loyal, loving companion you could ask for.

Story
This beautiful Rottweiler mix has a heart as big as her smile. Josie loves people, adores her toys, and keeps her kennel tidy like the good girl she is. She walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys every chance to get out and explore. Josie was adopted once before but found herself back at the shelter a few years later — through no fault of her own. She’s ready to start fresh and find the loving forever family she’s been waiting for. She can be a little selective about her dog friends and will need a home without cats, but she more than makes up for it with her loyal, affectionate personality. Josie is playful, people-loving, and ready to fill your life with joy — apply to meet her and see why she’s so special!

Story
Sir Gabriel Update Our handsome boy Sir Gabriel is being such a good boy as he rests from his first heartworm treatment. This part of the process is painful, but our gentle giant is handling it like an absolute champion. And look how smart he is! His Food Goddess asked him what he wanted — “Do you want the peanut butter Kong? If you do, show me where it’s at.” And just look at him… he marched right over to the freezer to show her exactly where it was! This boy’s intelligence is unreal. Sir Gabriel is spending his recovery time with his two Rottie foster sisters: Deja – the big momma of the group Rumor – the baby girl of the house They’re keeping him company, helping him stay relaxed, and surrounding him with the kind of love only dogs know how to give. Please keep Sir Gabriel in your prayers as he continues this journey. Healing takes time, patience, and a whole lot of love — and he has all three. Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Guardians of the Green Mile Inc. We are a group of individuals that have come together to save the lives of animals that are in danger of being euthanized. We raise funds to fully vet the animals and to provide them with a stable home until they are adopted. All of the dogs in our Rescue are in Foster homes while they are looking for their forever family. The only time we put a dog in boarding is for a Foster to go on vacation if another Foster is not able to care for them. We appreciate your taking the time to fill out the application to adopt one of our Guardians of the Green Mile pets. The questions that we ask are to only find the right fit for all of our dogs and the families that will be adopting them. Adoption donation is $300.00 for dogs over 1 year old and $350 with a $50.00 spay / neuter deposit for puppies/dogs under 1 year old. Story
Just one look at this guy and you can't help but wonder why he was given the name Chicken? We do not have a clue. He is a senior guy looking for a home to spend out the later years of his life with all the comforts that a loving home will provide. Chicken still has a good amount of energy, but at the end of the day, he would simply prefer to curl up in your favorite chair, if you will let him, or a plush dog bed. He would do best with older children and a quieter lifestyle since that is what he had in his prior home. Come meet this guy and check out his big soulful eyes. They do not come more irresistible than our Poppy! She will surely pop her way right into your heart. She is young, vibrant, and ready to go to her new home. This boxer mix is working on her basic obedience skills and doggie manners. She has met some dog friends, but tends to be very dog selective. Due to her energy and enthusiasm Poppy would do better with older children only 12+, and a secure fenced yard.DOB 11/10/23 40 Pounds and GrowingI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes.
