Story
Lambada came to us from an owner in Indiana who could no longer keep her by no fault of her own. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 02/14/19 and she currently weighs 79#. We are guessing at her breed make up. This girl is reported as house trained. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings includung rabies, is heart worm tested negative and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, cashier's check or money order. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##735875##

Story
Hey, I’m Reba! 1 year old | Mixed Breed | 55 lbs I’m currently the LONGEST RESIDENT at the shelter, so I think it’s about time we had a little heart-to-heart about who I really am. I'm like the older sister of the family. A little bossy, likes to be in charge, doesn't like sharing my things, and I have opinions about how things should be done… but underneath that tough-girl exterior I'm an absolute softie with a heart of gold.   I LOVE my people! I'm excited to meet just about everyone and when I love you, I love you fiercely. I'm happiest when I get to be right there with you. I’m the kind of girl who wants to join the adventure, nomatter what it is. I’m young, sweet, energetic, playful and full of personality. But starting giving me affection? I’ll melt right into you! I give the softest little kisses, lean my whole body against you, and will gladly flop over for belly rubs. I’m actually a pretty big baby when it comes to affection. Here’s a little more about me: VERY people friendly, affectionate, and loyal Energetic, playful, and always ready for an adventure A confident, bossy girl who would likely do best with a laid-back, submissive male dog after a proper introduction No cats for me, they’re just a little too exciting! Friendly with kids, but I’d do best living with older, respectful children (10+) who can understand my boundaries Smart and EXTREMELY food motivated, so snacks are definitely the way to my heart! And about those snacks… Much like a protective older sister, I have a strong sense of what belongs to me. I can be protective of my food and high-value treats, and I prefer to enjoy them without anyone bothering me. My future family will need to respect that boundary. Feeding me in my crate or another designated space is recommended, and special goodies like long-lasting bones and chews should be given there too. Give me my space, let me enjoy my snack in peace, and we’re golden. I’m still young, and I’m not a finished product. I need someone willing to continue teaching me good manners, respect the things I’m communicating, and help me become the best version of myself. I may need a little more guidance when it comes to house training as well.   But there’s SO much good already here. I’ve got personality. I’ve got loyalty. I’ve got enough energy to keep you laughing and enough love to make up for every belly rub you’ll ever give me. I’ve watched other dogs come and go while I’ve continued waiting. Now I’m the shelter’s longest resident, and I’m just waiting for someone to look past the bossy big-sister attitude and see what we already know: Underneath it is one incredibly loving girl with a HUGE heart who just needs someone of her own to give it to. Spayed | Heartworm & Lyme negative | Current on vaccinations & preventatives WAIVED ADOPTION FEE! Approved applicants can take me home for $0! I also come with a FULL YEAR OF HEARTWORM PREVENTION (a $100+ value!) Interested in meeting and possibly adopting me? Start by submitting an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog   Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24 to 36 hours. If approved, we’ll contact you to schedule a meet and greet. If you have other dogs, they’ll need to come too so we can make sure we’re a good match. Some dogs may also require all household members to attend. If it’s a good fit, you can take your new best friend home that same day! We also offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial so everyone can be sure it’s the perfect match.   Adoption Hours: Mon & Sat: 11 AM - 4 PM | Tue & Fri: 11 AM - 5 PM | Wed: 11 AM - 6 PM | Thur & Sun: CLOSED ##2680442##

Story
SamCattle dog/Rotty Mix3 years old63 poundsI came to the shelter after my owner passed away.I am a very sweet boy.I am currently working on walking on a loose leash.I don`t mind hanging out with dogs that are low in energy. The energetic dogs make me nervous.I love to play ball and will happily bring it back to you to throw again. If you look closely, my face has brown coloring on my cheeks. I also have some brown on my legs. My head is also blocky like a Rotty. I am definitely mixed with a large breed dog.My right eye is cloudy and probably has limited vision due to a previous injury. But presently, it doesn`t seem to bother me. I love to work for treats and currently know how to sit and shake.
