Due to his size, small children should keep a safe distance from Draco and be supervised by parents. He seems to be okay with other dogs as long as they are not dominant. I lost my 1st Rottie to cancer a few years back and I thought that I wanted another. I adopted Thor from Midwest Animal ResQ in June of 2024, he was 4 years old. He is neutered and UTD on vaccines. He knows basic commands, ie: sit, down, shake, etc. I have tried to work with him on leash walking, personal space boundaries, greeting new people and animals, etc. but it takes alot more time and energy than what I have. I am 60 years old and I am tired at the end of the day and he wants to go, go, go. We have 4 other rescues in our home, 2 dogs and 2 cats, he gets along well with them all. We have 5 grandchildren, ages 1 - 15 and he gets excited when they come to visit. Thor needs a home with active parents that can keep up with his energy. He is very loving and has never met a stranger, 2 or 4 legged. He loves car and boat rides. It will be hard for me to let him go, but I just can't keep up with him. I will check personal and vet references.

Vicky is just over a year old and she is full of SPUNK. This girl will keep you on your toes. If you want a lazy, calm dog...she is not girl! That isn't to say she can't calm down, because she can...but if she has a choice she wants to go and see what life has to offer. Vicky is dog unsure. She doesn't seem to have had proper socialization with dogs and has no idea how to behave. She's totally all about her person though. She knows how to sit and she is HIGHLY food motivated. I mean I think this girl would do anything for her kibbles! She's got the energy and the passion to learn a lot. Vicky is probably 65-70 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Vicky's adoption fee is $200. At Autumn Acres Animal Rescue we believe each individual animal matters. We take in special cases some of which will stay with us as a sanctuary dog.If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect Dog this means they have special needs and special requirements for potential adopters.If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect RESIDENT this animal is NOT available for adoption and is one of our sanctuary residents. 🌹Rosa is dressed in her best bandana and is ready to find her furever home!🌹 Rosa has been here since July 2024 with very little interest and we don’t understand why! Rosa is such a sweetheart and loves to play fetch with her Kong Ball. She is around 3 years old and is fully vaccinated and spayed. Rosa prefers lower energy dogs or ones that are okay giving her some space, not ones that run up and jump all over her. Rosa has been here for a long time and doesn’t get many visitors, so she prefers slow introductions to potential adopters. Please understand she always comes around, she has just gone through a lot in her short life and needs someone who is willing to take things nice and slow. She prefers older kiddos, as she gets nervous around small humans. When taken up to the vet recently to see how she responded to the clinic cat, she sniffed it and then ignored it. When a louder cat came into the clinic with their owner, she hid behind ACO Shelton. She’s a medium sized dog around 50 lbs who loves her people hard. You could definitely call her a Velcro dog. She loves to play fetch but loves to cuddle just as much!
