I lost my 1st Rottie to cancer a few years back and I thought that I wanted another. I adopted Thor from Midwest Animal ResQ in June of 2024, he was 4 years old. He is neutered and UTD on vaccines. He knows basic commands, ie: sit, down, shake, etc. I have tried to work with him on leash walking, personal space boundaries, greeting new people and animals, etc. but it takes alot more time and energy than what I have. I am 60 years old and I am tired at the end of the day and he wants to go, go, go. We have 4 other rescues in our home, 2 dogs and 2 cats, he gets along well with them all. We have 5 grandchildren, ages 1 - 15 and he gets excited when they come to visit. Thor needs a home with active parents that can keep up with his energy. He is very loving and has never met a stranger, 2 or 4 legged. He loves car and boat rides. It will be hard for me to let him go, but I just can't keep up with him. I will check personal and vet references.

I purchased Shani 2.6 years ago when I visited my Son in California, ( I live in Missouri). I brought her back with me, and was happy I did. She caught on to Home training quickly, and I observed her Smart personality.I recently found out I have a Medical condition that is forcing me make a decision to leave my home, and move to Arizona with my sister. So that's why I'm hoping to find someone to adopt Shani, because I won't be able to take her with me.

Oh, sweet Bubba! He is such a handsome caramel and black Rottweiler mix of ~7.5 years and ~55 pounds who came to us through @Saving Death Row Dogs in Topeka, Kansas. He's an amazing boy who deserves an equally amazing home. Bubba just adores children! His perfect day is being with his humans, running in the grass, and lounging with his toys. Bubba loves playing on the couch and rearranging the covers, too. Oh, and giving his human friends kisses! He's been around cats and does fine. Because they are scary to him, though, Bubba will not do well with other dogs in his home. Text or call The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information about Bubba. If you'll foster him, all of his expenses will be paid. Story
Hubbell is a wonderful dog. He's 6.5 and about as chill as can be. I had him for about 2 days before my landlord informed me she is selling our house, and we have had to make the unfortunate decision to re-home him. I didn't want him back at the shelter so we still have him, but we are also still getting to know him! Hubbell loves everyone he meets. He really just wants to snuggle. He's gentle taking treats and has been good around small children so far. He does okay on a leash, and would improve with a little training. Currently, his walks are short as he is being treated for heartworm. He has about 4 months left of his monthly treatment, and I have meds to send with him. He also does well in his kennel (a treat always helps him go in!) I have a kennel, a bed, a leash and harness to donate, as well as any food or treats I have left. We haven't tested him with other dogs. The shelter said he was shy in play groups, and on walks he seems to want to play. Unsure of cats.

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my parents. They have a dog named Luna who urgently needs to be rehomed. Luna has been with us since she was a pup and has always lived with other dogs. We’ve tried everything to help her and our other female dog get along, but the fights have become more frequent, and it’s clear she would do better in a different environment. Luna is spayed and up to date on all her shots. She would thrive in a home where she is the only dog, with a calm and loving environment just for her. My husband & I adopted Fiona from a friend when she was 4 1/2 months old. She is 8 years old. Fiona is in need of a home with carpet as she has developed a fear of our hard wood floors. She started slipping and falling on them. Fiona absolutely LOVES children AND attention from anyone! She is very happy go lucky but IS an only child/fur baby.
