Story
Coffee is a beautiful rottweiler who was at risk of getting shot after being dumped on a rural property. She was heartworm positive but has been treated for it. She has stubby tail. She has been good with male and female dogs medium to large but has not been around small dogs or cats. She is very very friendly with people. She walks well on the leash. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Scooter is an 18 month old female Rottweiler mix who was surrendered when her owner died in Memphis. Sweet and gentle, but somewhat shy and tentative with new people and situations. Great with other dogs and would enjoy a dog buddy in her new home. Not cat tested. Has never lived with children, although she’d likely be fine with older dog-savvy children. Housebroken but never crated because she doesn’t need to be. High energy level outside, settles down quickly in the house. Low maintenance, good house manners. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Loves to be with her people. DOB is April 2024. Scooter has entropian Right Eye but it doesn’t seem to bother her much. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 80 pounds.  Sweet young rottie mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed. I love this girl, I was hoping to add her as a member of my family. Sadly, Layla and she didn't get along. I had several plans for her such as dock diving, she's amazingly fast. Loves to jump and run. She is my third Rottweiler, Layla and Max tried to gang up on her. Now my home has gates and a cage. It's not fair to any of them. I want what's best for her. She deserves a good life. It takes her a little while to get close to you, she seems a little nervous at first. But is a lot of fun when she warms up. AKC registered, 18 months old.
