Turtle deserved so much more.Despite everything, this boy remains loving, gentle, and full of hope. Turtle is a true cuddle bug who just wants a family that will love him, include him, and give him the attention he has always deserved. Buddy is such a wonderful boy. He has the heart of a puppy and loves to play. He’ll make an excellent family pet as he gets along fantastic with kids and other dogs.   His owner passed away and currently he is in foster care. All of his vetting was done in October 2025. He is heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines.   He’s a big boy at 77 pounds. We do not know how he is with cats since he’s never been exposed to any.    His adoption fee is $350 and that includes the cost for transport.  ##2688185##

Story
🐾 Meet Chunk! 🐾 Chunk's story is one of resilience, hope, and second chances. At one point, Chunk was simply left behind and forgotten. Through no fault of his own, he found himself without the love and security every dog deserves. But thanks to a lot of time, patience, and dedication, Chunk has blossomed into an incredible boy who is finally learning what it means to be loved. Today, Chunk is a sweet, loving companion with so much potential. He may need a family that understands his past and is willing to continue building his confidence, but the reward is a loyal friend who will love you with his whole heart. Chunk isn't looking for a perfect family—he's looking for the right family. One that will be patient, kind, and willing to give him the time he needs to fully settle in and trust. In return, he'll show you just how amazing a second chance can be. Chunk is currently heartworm positive, but that doesn't stop him from being an amazing dog deserving of a loving home. He will continue receiving treatment even after adoption, so his future family can focus on helping him settle in and enjoy the life he's always deserved. ❤️ Sometimes the dogs who have been forgotten make the most unforgettable companions. Could Chunk be the missing piece of your family?

Story
Meet Misty! A spirited almost four-year-old Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix currently living in Blackwood, NJ, whose essence is a golden burst of affection wrapped in a 90-pound frame of playful energy and heart-melting cuddles. Misty is the kind of dog who makes herself known, not just by her stunning golden brown coat with white accents, but with the way she leans in close to rest her head on your chest, or showers you with kisses when you’ve had a long day. She’s a sweet-natured, medium-energy girl who absolutely adores people, especially kids, and thrives in environments filled with love, consistency, and room to stretch her long legs. Her favorite toy? A squeaky octopus that brings out her goofy, playful side every time! This affectionate girl is crate trained, house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She knows commands like “come,” “sit,” “lay,” and “stay”, though like any independent soul, she occasionally needs a reminder to follow through. She’s done well with short periods alone, especially when left with a chew bone (though she’s been known to redecorate with shredded paper if boredom strikes!). Misty has done great at doggie daycare, where structured settings and supervised play make her feel at ease. However, Misty must be the only animal in her home. She has severe resource guarding issues, particularly around food, and has had altercations with other dogs in the home. While she’s friendly with dogs in controlled environments, she cannot share living space or food areas with other animals. Misty shines with positive reinforcement and gentle, firm guidance. She responds beautifully to a calm but confident voice, especially when her excitement bubbles over into enthusiastic greetings (yes, she's a jumper, because she just can't wait to say hello!). Misty is ready for a home with a spacious fenced yard and a patient, loving caregiver who understands her quirks and sees the loyal, affectionate companion beneath. Ready to make room on your couch, and in your heart, for Misty? To learn more about welcoming Misty into your family, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com!

Story
Meet Reyna — this queen is part Rottweiler, part athlete, part professional couch companion, and 100% good girl. Reyna is beautiful, low-shedding, crate trained, potty trained, and walks on a leash like she personally watched every episode of The Dog Whisperer. She loves running, hiking, swimming, fetch, and basically any activity preferred by those mysterious people who voluntarily do cardio when absolutely no one is chasing them. She’s great with kids and medium- to large-sized dogs. However, in true Rottie fashion, Reyna firmly believes squirrels, cats, and other tiny fast-moving creatures are highly suspicious and should be investigated at full speed. Because of this, a home without cats is a must. The squirrels, however, have been warned and remain fair game. After a full day — or at least a good walk and a game of fetch — this gal is more than happy to crash on the couch with her people for cuddles and a full-on Love Island binge session. Athletic, gorgeous… and emotionally available? Honestly, Reyna is setting unrealistic standards for the rest of us. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Has amazing recall , when you call her she comes right away . Listens very well. She is very well trained . Does not jump or bother . She has a bed that she loves with her blankets she sucks on the blankets to sleep , she is great with kids , She’s never been around cats really and when she has it hasn’t really been good so cats are a no go .
