She is only 60 pounds and 2 years old and oh my gosh, she is the sweet little girl around. PENNY is 2 years old and I hate to keep repeating myself but she is simple the sweetest. She has no aggression in any area and does not react to other dogs, she gets along with all of the dogs and loves to play. She walks great on a leash and does not get sick in the car. PENNY was found running the streets of San Antonio, TX and after posting her on social media, no one was looking for her. But that is okay because I am happy to have her in our rescue group. Of course she needs her own home and would make an excellent companion for any human as she is gentle and mild. And she would be a great playmate for another dog. HUNTER can be submissive believe it or not with his big self. But sometimes when the other dogs play too rough, HUNTER retreats away from the rough housing. HUNTER is 5 years old and previously owned but somehow ended up on the streets of San Antonio, TX and picked up as a stray landing him in our city's very high-kill shelter. His owners did not come for him, sad. But we hope to make HUNTER have a happy ending by finding him a loving home he can relax in. He is very mellow and so obedient. He is healthy and had a few teeth that needed to be removed that made his jaw swollen and look crooked. Actually he still has a front tooth that sticks out and just makes him unique looking. Seriously this is a great family pet who loves kids and his people. We are in disbelief at his cool and calm temperament, soooo cool and calm. He has been tested around some dogs that are dog reactive and bark, bark, bark. DUKE never flinches or acknowledges they are even there, they get in his face and DUKE just turns around and goes in the other direction. DUKE is 4 years old and 80 pounds, a few pounds underweight but he is making up for it. DUKE was found in a subdivision next to his own subdivision. He is microchipped and every attempt was made to reach his family by social media, phone, text and even visited his home but they would not respond. So we are like okay let us see why they no longer want DUKE. But DUKE is perfect really a perfect pet. In several weeks we have not found any faults except he just loves to hang with his humans and that is a great fault. He is not aggressive in any area and do not resource guard things or humans and of course he gets along with everyone. He had a growth on his eye that has been removed and that is why his right eye looks a little hinky. He is healthy in all areas, walks great on a leash without pulling, just walks right beside you at your pace and he rides in a car without getting sick, jumps right in. She gets along with all of the dogs and plays nicely, she is obedient and easy to train. Right now she does not know any commands except 'sit & off'. The only exposure she has had with cats is the outdoor cats that pass by, she is curious about them but has no aggression towards them. BUTTERCUP is 2 years old and weighs 75 pounds and originally was picked up from the streets of San Antonio, TX and ended up in our very high-kill shelter. We rescued her from a sure death because as you know her breed is considered a bully breed. A bully she is NOT, just a playful 2 year old who wants to have fun and enjoys walking. Meet MEADOW, 60 pounds and 10 months old and as sweet as sugar. She started off thin and I suspect she will get close to 80 pounds in the next 6 months. She has a docked tail and loves belly rubs. She will instantly fall on her back for a belly rub. MEADOW is a soft hearted and soft behaving beautiful girl that gets along with everyone. Her play buddies are big and small. She loves to just be a puppy, running zoomies, playing with toys, cuddling and especially getting snacks. She takes a bath good and walks well on a leash. She would love a home with a pet playmate. MEADOW is easy to train and completely crate and house trained but not ready to be left alone as she is a puppy. I do not have any cats and not sure how she would do around them.
