Story
This big beautiful girl cost someone $3500 2 years ago. A year ago she found herself abandoned and living on a chain a couple hundred feet behind the home she used to live inside of. The family she used to be a part of had moved away. Thankfully the property owner had been caring for her until he could find the perfect place for her. She is now safe and comfortable at the Funny Farm and back inside where it’s warm and she gets to play and have people love on her throughout the day. She is 62 pounds of pure love. She loves everyone she meets and is a little submissive. She loves other dogs of all sizes as well. She has a moderate prey drive so cats would probably not be a great idea although we are told she used to live with 2. She absolutely loves toys, especially this giant donut and she loves to go for rides. She does great off leash and has excellent recall. She is the typical Rottie and is a slob with her water and food and has no idea how big she is because she loves to sit in your lap. She knows sit but I believe from living on a chain for a year, she does jump a little but she corrects fairly easy. This girl has tons of potential in an experienced home. She needs lots of exercise and consistent training. If you think you are the perfect match for Zoey you need to start by submitting the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Her adoption fee is $325 and if she requires transport from her current foster home near Jackson TN there will be an additional $200 fee. She will be fully vetted before leaving the rescue. You can check her and her adoptable friends out at funnyfarmpets.org and check out her videos on FB at https://www.facebook.com/mcbfunnyfarmrescue?

Story
Puppies are full of adventure, wonder ad curiosity. Their endless spirit is unparalleled. Monty is no exception to the exuberant puppy life. He knows how to get the party started with his lively nature. Monty is a rottweiler mix at around 10 months old and weighing around 40 pounds. With some more growing left in him, it is estimated that he will be a large dog of somewhere over 60 pounds when fully grown. He will be a large dog with lots of sweetness and love. With a rambunctious puppy like Monty, there is never a dull moment to be had. He does not know his size and has a super uncoordinated body that does not stop moving. Coordination will come in as he matures, but in the meantime, he will provide endless laughter with his craze antics. He is a happy guy who really knows how to have fun and get the party started. He does great in playgroups with other dogs and does well with children as well. He has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue, so his acceptance remains an unknown at this time. Monty is looking forward to learning his skills of house, crate, leash training. He promises to put in his best effort and make his family proud of him in the process. He is a whole cast of characters in one lively and entertaining dog. Monty is also full of adventure the cherry on top is love. He loves with his whole heart, body and soul. Bring Monty into your family and have a lifetime of love. * Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Monty is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.January 18, 2026, 6:49 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! You guessed it, we named her Sweetie because she is so deserving of that name, too sweet and loving. This 5 year old young girl just wants to be loved and hang around you, she craves human attention and I am giving her all I can. But she has to share with the other foster dogs here. Sweetie is good about sharing and happy to live with her foster siblings big and small. She gets along with everything and everyone. I do not have cats so I do not know about them. Sweetie weighs 56 pounds right now but she was thinner when I got her. She needs to put on a few more pounds but she is a petite size Rottweiler. Sweetie came to my attention by some out of town visitors, she kept going into the hotel they were staying and laying on the cool floor. We are in San Antonio, Texas and we are having a very hot summer. The visitors fed her for a few days and reached out to me for help. Before I could get over there to get her, ACS, our very high kill shelter picked her up . Turns out Sweetie had a microchip so ACS contacted her owners to pick her up, they never came and Sweetie ended up on death row simply because he owners abandoned her. I immediately pulled her from the facility and brought her into my home. She was confused at first and didn't know how to act but it was clear that she really appreciated the love and attention, she gobbled it up. Sweetie has adjusted and really ready for her own home. Sweetie is spayed, vaccinated, rabes, dewormed and microchipped under my rescue and healthy. She has a lot more life to live, can you be her hero? Her medical records will come with her. Thank you.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.You would be winning a prize to get this super duper sweet little girl.  Well she is not so little, kind of like 65 pounds and she will get about 10 bigger as she develops.  Meet BUBBLES who will cuddle and give kisses, she is loyal and loving, kind and gentle.  As part of her makeup you would be getting a non-reactive, friendly and social girl.    This sweetheart was abandoned at a park in San Antonio, TX.  So loyal that she was just sitting in the sand pit waiting for her humans to come back and get her.  After 3 days she decided she would follow her foster mom home with their dog.     Did I tell you she is affectionate and a love bug who gets along with other dogs and cats and she thinks she is a lap dog so be prepared to get all the love your have been looking for from BUBBLES, she gives the best hugs.     On the 2nd day at her foster home she allowed the 13 year old to bath and trim her nails without any fuss. Of course she runs and play like Tinkerbell with the foster's pit mix who can be kind of bossy at times but BUBBLES has no reaction towards it she just goes to play with her toys until our dog is ready to play again.   She is very comfortable sitting quietly playing with her toys and so not in the way of anything.  BUBBLES totally respects the boundaries of the cat and she is friendly with her.   BUBBLE is estimated to be approximately 1 1/2 years old and completely healthy.  She will guard your property in a curious kind of way and occasionally bark at perceived threats but isn't a big runner or barker.    BUBBLES has been in foster care for 6 weeks and her foster family simply love her but know she deserves to have a home of her own.  It would be great if she had a pet playmate but she would be just as happy as an only dog.  She would be your constant and best companion.   BUBBLES can be trusted unsupervised in the yard and has not tried to dig or escape.   If you are interested in adopting BUBBLES, please submit an application on the website below or give us a call.      www.roxysk9rescue.org          ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.We would like to welcome RAY to our group of Rottweiler lovers.  This beautiful boy is 9 months old and 93 pounds and will probably weigh at least 120 pounds as an adult.  This happy guy loves to meet new people and he is a puppy playful guy who loves to have treats but mainly like all Rottweilers he likes to be in your company getting love from you.  He is a true full blooded/upre breed Rottweiler.  Walks great on the leash and loves to hang his head out of the door while riding in the car. Ray's temperament is so great that it makes him a wonderful family pet, of course he does not realize how big and strong he is but he absolutely loves to play with kids.  He even knows a few commands if he will pay attention and not continue to try to engage you in playing with him.  Please be aware that Ray is an indoor dog and has the manners to be inside.  He is a goofy and calm boy who is looking for a loving home. Ray's tail is docked but he has huge dewclaws that the vet was not able to remove because they are connected to the bone but that does not slow him down, just a cosmestic thing.  He is in great health. If you are interested in adopting Ray, please submit an application on the website below.  More pictures are available.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Meet LUCAS, a wonderfully happy guy who loves everyone and plays with everyone in his foster home.  His temperament is the best, no aggression or guarding issues with him.  He actually shares his crate with a younger and smaller puppy who has attached himself to LUCAS. LUCAS is 36 pounds and will probably be a large-medium dog, at least 60 pounds.  When he was younger he looked much more like a Rottweiler but as he has grown he is showing signs of having Labrador Retriever in him but the Rottweiler is prominent.  LUCAS is currently 4 1/2 months old.  He is completely crate and potty trained.  Once he door opens to his crate he heads straight to the backdoor to go potty and he stays out there to play with everyone.  LUCAS is an equal opportunity playmate.  He loves toys and playing tug-of-war. Actually this is a sweet guy who would make any family happy to have him as their pet.  If you are interested in adopting LUCAS please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
