As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Meet CHOP this big hunk of love is dog friendly, fully vetted and microchipped. He is looking for a home he can call his own, where he will be treated like a family member. He is at a shelter at no fault of his, his humans let him down ☹️.The shelter is a lourd cold noise place, not where he deserves to be. This boy is playful and a great friend! Likely a Rottweiler and Plott Hound mix, Dennis is about 1–2 years old and has a big heart to match his love for life. His absolute favorite thing? Playing fetch! He’d happily chase toys all day long if he could. Dennis is smart, eager to please, and incredibly loving. Story
Bear is 6 years old. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He has been raised with love in our home, with my wife and two boys who are now 10 and 8. He is good with our boys, but we unexpectadly had a baby last year that is now crawling and will soon be walking. As Bear has gotten older, he does not like to have his feet touched or being grabbed unexpectadly, things like that. He has never bitten anyone, but with the baby becoming mobile and grabbing at everything he can, we just cant take a chance. Bear is really big and strong, and does need at least a good daily walk or two. He loves people and has always come to work with me everyday. He gets along with other dogs, but can be reactionary on his leash when he sees other dogs on walks. This is an agonizing decision for us, it's really important to us that he goes to someone who understands the breed, ideally has good yard/ outdoor space and that he is welcomed into a home that will treat him with love.

What we have found is that she loves to play with her toys and is super snuggly once her needs have been met. We know that she would do best with an adopter who can provide her with some structure and a gentle approach to training while she catches up on her manners. Meet Chucky! He`s a smart, active, silly guy who loves training and sniffy walks. Chucky is a foodie, and will happily settle down with a long-lasting chew after a nice walk or game of fetch. He walks great on leash with a harness, and enjoys zooming around our yards with his dog or human friends. Chucky has had mixed experiences with other dogs, and generally does well during supervised play but should ideally be the only dog in the home. If you`re excited about positive reinforcement training, have a good sense of humor, and don`t mind a bark that sounds *exactly* like a seal, Chucky could be the dog for you!
