Story
Meet Guero! Guero is a friendly and energetic young dog ready to find a home of his very own. Guero thrives on a healthy mix of affection, walks, and play to keep him happy and fulfilled. He's only a year old and seems to think himself a forever puppy - bouncy, happy, and endlessly adorable! He is still working on his basic house manners and training. Guero has lived with his sister and visited dog parks before, but can be overexcited meeting dogs at times. He could do well with a well-matched canine companion in the home and, since he has lived with cats before, could do well with cats after a slow introduction. **If you are interested in Guero, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours**

Story
Lainey is a high-energy, playful, and affectionate young dog who’s always ready for her next adventure. She is a lively, curious girl who loves to explore the world around her.Lainey is very playful and thrives in an active home. She adores playtime, especially chasing a ball or frisbee, and loves going on long walks. If you're looking for a hiking buddy, look no further! After a fun-filled day, she’s happy to cuddle up and soak in affection. This girl loves her people. She lives with other dogs and does great with them. A fenced in yard is NOT a requirement for her, but if you do have one under 6ft, it will probably be no match for Lainey. If you plan to utilize a fenced in yard for this active girl, the fence will need to be at least 6ft! This adventurous girl is quite athletic! Lainey walks well on leash (she does pull a little bit sometimes!), and she rides nicely in the car. Lainey is crate trained and knows the command “Kennel Up” (a treat helps!). She sleeps well in her crate all night long and is kenneled when no one is home. As a medium-sized, high-energy dog, she will benefit from consistent training to help channel her enthusiasm into good habits. With the right guidance, exercise, and love, Lainey will be a loyal, fun-loving, and adventurous companion ready to join you on life’s next journey.Name: LaineyBreed: Rottweiler/Lab/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 1.5 years  (estimated)Weight: 45lbsSpayed/Neutered: yesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  Tennessee  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Hello there, I'm Zeus. I've seen a lot in my years, but I've never lost my zest for life. I'm a master at fetch and I've got a soft spot for squeaky toys. They say I'm an adult, but don't let that fool you - I'm still a pup at heart. I love to explore new places, sniff out new scents, and meet new people. I'm always up for a good belly rub or a long walk. I've been told I'm quite the charmer, and I must admit, I do love to make people smile. I'd love to bring joy to your home and be your loyal companion. I may not be a puppy anymore, but I promise to love you with all my heart. I'm ready for a new chapter in my life, and I hope it's with you. Why should you adopt me? Well, every home needs a Zeus - a faithful friend, a loving companion, and a bringer of joy. Located in Hagerstown, Md. Transport to most states available with an additional fee of $250.

Story
Bailey Robinson is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!  Bailey is a special lady that will slowly and quietly work her way into your heart. Having spent most of her first year living outside with minimal human interaction she is slowly learning that being inside is pretty nice and humans can be too! She needs at least one other dog and a fenced yard. She extremely shy and skittish (flight risk at first), but will open once she builds trust and feels safe, but it will take time. Bailey loves to eat and is extremely food motivated, the quickest way to her heart is peanut butter and freeze dried liver, but really any treat will do-even apples. Once she trusts you she will come to you for pets and love.  She needs a very patient adopter willing to give her the time to adjust and trust, but it is well worth it. She is incredibly sweet. She will benefit from professional training to help her continue to make progress.  Teens and older only, busy kids are too much for her. She'd also prefer a quieter household while she settles in, too many visitors make her nervous. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter.   If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today!
