Wally is 4. Birthday is March 31st, 2020. He just wants to play. He’s never bitten anyone or anything. He gets along with all ages. He’s not neutered. So he tries to hump female dogs. He gets along great with male dogs. Wally’s very kind. He’s the best dog I’ve ever had.

Story
She is a great dog that loves people and other dogs after an introduction. Is afraid of unfamiliar dogs and will charge them if she feels threatened. Needs a solo walk if arranged through a company. Very smart and social, loves dancing and cuddling and going on walks where there’s a lot to sniff. Has done multiple structured training programs, knows paw, sit, come, eat/leave it, and other common commands. Crate trained - needs to be crated when she’s unsupervised or she will be destructive (walls). Not a big barker/whiner. Misses having a yard (she wants to sit in the park on walks). She is very social and wants time with her person. She will be attached to you as you walk through the house. Hasn’t been around a lot of kids but likes them and is gentle. Has allergies - food and environmental. Loves fruit, especially strawberries and apples.

Story
Capri Sun is a older lady who is looking for a special home. She is one of the dogs from the large surrender we took of under-socialized boxers. Due to her abnormal history she is a very nervous lady who is slow to warm up to people and new situations. Capri Sun will need a family committed to helping her settle in at her own pace and learn normal dog behaviors. She would likely do best in a home without another dog or young kids. If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thats a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit http://www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) theyre interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
