Story
Bear is 6 years old. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He has been raised with love in our home, with my wife and two boys who are now 10 and 8. He is good with our boys, but we unexpectadly had a baby last year that is now crawling and will soon be walking. As Bear has gotten older, he does not like to have his feet touched or being grabbed unexpectadly, things like that. He has never bitten anyone, but with the baby becoming mobile and grabbing at everything he can, we just cant take a chance. Bear is really big and strong, and does need at least a good daily walk or two. He loves people and has always come to work with me everyday. He gets along with other dogs, but can be reactionary on his leash when he sees other dogs on walks. This is an agonizing decision for us, it's really important to us that he goes to someone who understands the breed, ideally has good yard/ outdoor space and that he is welcomed into a home that will treat him with love.

Story
As of April 12th, Cannoli has partnered with Bullied Breeds Rescue.Cannoli is a 65lb "work-in-progress" powerhouse wildcard. After 2 months of structure, she’s a sweet, eager girl who just needs help finding her focus. The Reality: Our trainer describes her as a "total spazz" with lots of potential. Her heart is gold, but her brain moves at 100mph. She struggles to focus long enough to "get it," but she shows improvement every day!Food Fixated: A world-class counter-surfer. She will try to take food from your hands or mouth! She requires crating during human mealtimes.Leash Monster: She doesn’t just pull; she propels. She needs a strong handler who will continue working on leash manners.Best in a cat-free home: Friendly but lacks an "off" switch.Ideal Match: Fully housebroken but needs a routine. She needs an experienced large-breed owner who can handle a "maximum volume" personality. If you can handle the chaos, she’ll be your most loyal companion

Story
Meet Rebel, a 2-3 month old boxer mix with the cutest ears and a personality that melts hearts. Weighing in at just 8 lbs, Rebel may be small, but his spirit is boundless. He was found abandoned at a construction site with his sister. We are thrilled someone took pity on them; taking care of them until we could step in to help. Without food, water, and shelter, survival was impossible. This little guy adores playing with his fur friends and cuddling up close, yet he’s also content to spend quiet moments on his own—no crazy barking, just peaceful tail wags. The perfect little pup!! Rebel’s happiest moments are when he’s surrounded by love, whether it’s from humans or fellow pups. His gentle nature makes him a joy to be around, and his wagging tail is always ready to greet you. We dare you not to smile once you lay eyes on this sweet, fun pup. Now, Rebel is looking for his forever home—a place where he can share his playful energy and affectionate cuddles with a family who will cherish him. If you’re seeking a loyal companion with a joyful spirit, Rebel is ready to bring warmth and happiness into your life. We hope a forever family will see the wonderful spirit Rebel has and give him the loving home he deserves.

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: Older children only (13+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesZaria is an affectionate, and loyal girl with a real zest for life. She is a medium energy dog who enjoys a play session, followed by a nap. She benefits from slow introductions to other dogs. She would also be fine as an only dog. Zaria happily entertains herself with toys or a romp in the backyard. She has lived with cats and has for the most part ignored their presence. Zaria loves her people and enjoys making new human friends. She can be an enthusiastic greeter and sometimes forgets her size, so older dog-savvy children would be best for her. Zaria enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and looks to her humans for reassurance and guidance in new situations. Zaria is an intelligent girl and very eager to please. She knows a plethora of commands, and loves to learn new things every day. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Zaria enjoys relaxing in her crate throughout the day and sleeps soundly in it overnight. She is looking for an experienced and patient adopter who will continue to provide her with structure and routine so she can continue to be her best self. Are you the lucky family who gets to add Zaria to your bunch? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. He is a lovable, affectionate boy with a huge personality and an even bigger heart! This medium-energy pup has bursts of playful energy mixed with plenty of couch snuggle time. Hotch would do well in an active home to take him on fun walks and provide him with a lot of love.Hotch is very sociable and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He would do well with or without a canine sibling. Hotch was curious about the cats in his foster home and would do fine with dog-savvy cats who don't mind a friendly sniff. Hotch enjoys playing with stuffed toys and loves his walks around the neighborhood! This smart boy is eager to please! He is fully crate trained (sometimes just needing a little coaxing with a treat) and house trained. Hotch is crated during the day and overnight without any issues. He transitioned easily to potty training and has had zero accidents since coming north.
