Story
🐾 Meet Nova: Your New Companion 🐾Are you ready to welcome a gentle giant into your life? Nova, a lovely female Rottweiler, is searching for her forever home, and she has so much love to give.Nova's previous life was spent alongside a smaller furry friend, and they were inseparable. She's proven to be a great companion to laid-back and calmer dogs, although her playfulness might be a bit reserved. She prefers the company of her fellow canines or as a solo dog over playtime antics. This sweet girl had a tough start and found herself abandoned at a boarding facility. Thankfully, they reached out to us to help her find the loving family she deserves. Nova might be a bit shy when she first meets you, but give her some time, and she'll warm up, revealing her affectionate and loving nature.Nova thrives on structure and companionship, so she'd be happiest in a family willing to continue leash training with her. It's one of her favorite activities, and it helps her feel secure. She's not a fan of the vet's office, so helping her build positive associations there would be a great start to easing her nerves. When it comes to house training, Nova is a champ. She's also incredibly polite when greeting people, making her a true lady. Plus, she's already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, so you can enjoy her company worry-free.If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loyal and loving companion, Nova is waiting to become your new best friend. Give her the chance to shine and watch her blossom into the perfect addition to your family. If you are interested, we welcome you to submit an application online to meet her! https://www.secondchancenc.org/adopt-a-pet/dog-adoption-application 🐶❤️***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for an adoptable puppy to be a part of your family?  Kia is the girl for you!  Please submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application at  https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC .     Kia is an 8 week old puppy who just got her first vet exam and set of vaccines. She is a healthy, happy, friendly puppy who is ready to find her forever home now.  Her Mother is a 60+lb Rottweiler mix.  Kia has her momma's markings.  Her Dad could have been a husky mix because Kia has blue eyes.  She likes to play with her siblings and would love a home with another dog. She is working on housebreaking but since she is so young, she will need to go outside on a regular basis to reinforce her training.  Someone who works from home would be ideal.     Since she has only had one set of vaccines, she cannot live in an apartment, condo or townhouse where she would need to share outside space to "do her business".  She is still susceptible for diseases.  She must have her own yard and cannot go into a public setting until after her next set of vaccines which will be around October 20th.     ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. Any children in the home under 6 years old ideally should have experience being around dogs. Puppies can nip, bite and mouth so may not be appropriate for very young children.      Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.    INTERESTED IN ADOPTING  KIA?
