Meet Minka, She is a 4 year old Rottweiler mix. She came in with Lucy. She also is from the Brunswick pound. She weighs 55 lbs. She is also a little shy and confused. But she just needs a little time to adjust. She will be available for adoption on 4/23/26. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

They think I’m about 3 years old but spiritually I am a caffeinated Olympic athlete with zoomies scheduled every 12 minutes. Let’s discuss my talents: 🏃‍♀️ Running. 🏃‍♀️ Running faster. 🏃‍♀️ Running because I thought about running. I could absolutely win “Most Energetic Dog Ever in the History of Energy.” I would like room to run, stretch my legs, perform interpretive dance, and possibly invent a new sport called Competitive Lap Jumping. Speaking of laps — WHAT IS PERSONAL SPACE? I’ve never heard of her. If you sit down, congratulations, you are now a Lucy Chair™. I will be in your lap. On your shoulder.
