Story
Harley and her mother were abandoned with a friend of my aunt who couldn't take care of them long term. We took Harley not understanding how active she would be. We have two other dogs that she gets along with well. However, she needs a more active household. She is very loving and cuddly. She likes to jump, climb and chew. She does not like to share her toys.

Story
She is a very sweet and loving girl to us, but she is trying to be dominant with the older dog and she has attacked her at least 4 times, vet suggested we get her fixed to help the problem and we did and she sill is trying to attack her, she thinks she is the alpha. We think it would be best for all involved for her to go to a home with no other dogs and someone that can work on her aggression issues. She will be 2 in June. We thought we had a home for her and the lady came over and introduced herself on the porch and at first we kinda did a bark growl, then lady tried again and she snapped at her so not sure if she got a bad vibe of the lady or was protecting her home or combo of both. She loves to go on walks and car rides. She does play well with our doberman, but for some reason she keeps attacking our other female rottweiler, so we have been separating her when it is time to go outside.

Story
Meet Atlas! This handsome Rottweiler/Doberman mix is a younger guy with energy to spare and a tail nub that never seems to stop wagging. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was quite nervous around new people, and he can still be quite shy when meeting someone new. Because of this we highly recommend slow introductions and recommend a home without small children. However, give him a bit of time along with patience and you'll discover a loyal companion that wants to do everything with his person. Once he's comfortable his playful side begins to shine. He loves to play in our play yard especially if there's a rope toy or long plush toy involved for a game of tug-of-war! He's also incredibly food motivated - cheese being the quickest way to his heart! He knows sit, though sitting still can be a challenge when his little nub is wagging a mile a minute. After playtime, he's all about the snuggles, which is when he finally settles down and shows his softer side. To add to it, he makes adorable facial expressions such as his frequent tongue bleps. This sweet boy is still working on his overall basic obedience and potty training, but with patience, treats and an experienced dog owner willing to go at his pace, he'll surely grow into a devoted best friend. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Atlas, please feel free to fill out an application!

Story
Vanna is an 11-year-old Lab mix with a heart just as big as her adorable, wiggly body. This sweet senior girl is all about the simple joys in life—good food, cozy spots to nap, and, most of all, being close to her people. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion to share your days with, Vanna is ready to be your girl. Vanna does have a large lipoma (a fatty tumor) on her left side. The good news is that it isn’t life-threatening and doesn’t stop her from enjoying life. Due to her age, surgery isn’t recommended—but don’t let that scare you away. Vanna is still full of love, personality, and plenty of tail wags to give. At her age, Vanna deserves a soft place to land—a calm, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by kindness and comfort. Could you be the one to give Vanna the peaceful, love-filled retirement she’s been waiting for?The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet.
