Story
Meet Mongo, our sweet senior rotty who has been in our care since March 2024. He is neutered, fully adoptable, and thriving in his foster home. Mongo is house trained, curious, and still impressively active for his age. He has plenty of puppy like energy and is a total wiggle butt who loves being around his people. Mongo is looking for a home with no other animals, though he has done well with dogs his size or larger. With his gentle heart and goofy charm, he is the sweetest old man and will make a wonderful companion for someone ready to give him the loving retirement home he deserves.

Story
Gizmo is a walking contradiction in fur form — all muscle, no awareness of it. He’s a giant goofball who hasn’t quite realized that his body could double as a wrecking ball if he gets the zoomies in a small space. Gizmo was found tied to a tree with no note, no backstory, and no idea how he ended up there. While we don’t know his past, we’re writing him a much better chapter now. In his foster home, he’s proven to be a social butterfly in a linebacker’s body — he plays well with his foster dog sibling and is learning that not every interaction needs to be at full throttle. He’s working on leash manners and basic obedience, though we’ll be honest: Gizmo tends to “act first, think later.” It’s part of his charm — that frat boy energy that keeps his foster laughing (and occasionally saying “Gizmo, what are you doing?!”). If you’ve got a sense of humor, a love for big personalities, and maybe a little patience for a lovable chaos gremlin in a Rottweiler suit, Gizmo just might be your guy.

Story
Charlie just turned 3 years old — a birthday she spent, once again, behind the walls of the shelter she’s called home for almost a year and a half. 🥀She’s a beautiful Rottweiler/Retriever mix with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul… but you’ll have to earn the chance to see that side of her. Charlie struggles with meeting new people — the world hasn’t always been kind to her — but if someone could just give her a few chances, visit her a couple of times, sit quietly nearby and let her heart unfold on its own… they’d find the most loyal, gentle, loving dog waiting underneath the fear. 💔Once she trusts you, she’s pure sunshine — a snuggly, kiss-giving, tail-wagging angel who will follow you anywhere. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and loves to stretch her legs running around the yard before curling up in a soft bed or a pile of blankets. She doesn’t care much for toys — she just wants love, safety, and someone to finally stay. 🐾Charlie has done well with some dogs here, but she takes her time getting comfortable — both with people and other pets. She’d do best in a quiet, low-traffic home with no young kids or cats. She’s a staff and volunteer favorite because we’ve seen the real her — the dog that greets you with kisses, melts into your lap, and looks at you like you’re her entire world. 🌙We keep telling her that her person is out there. That someone will see past the nerves and realize what a once-in-a-lifetime dog she truly is. But with every day that passes, she waits a little longer.Maybe you’re the one she’s been waiting for. 🖤More information? Story
Artemis is a sweet, energetic puppy who loves racing around the yard, playing with toys, and soaking up affection. She’s crate trained, eager to learn, and loves being part of the action. Artemis is friendly, social, and very loving, and she’d thrive with a family who enjoys outdoor fun, regular exercise, and plenty of snuggles. She has a happy, gentle spirit and is ready to grow up with her forever people. She’s currently 5 months old and 24lbs. The vet listed her as a Rottweiler mix. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. Story
Meet Aimee-Leigh! At just 6 months old, Aimee-Leigh is a gorgeous Rottweiler/Shepherd mix with eyes so stunning they should probably have their own fan club. She’s a Southern sweetheart with a sprinkle of sass, a whole lot of smarts, and the perfect amount of “I might steal your spot on the couch” energy. Aimee-Leigh is the full puppy package: playful, cuddly, curious, and always ready to charm her way into getting one more treat… or three. She loves people, adores playtime, and melts for cuddles, blankets or time by the fireplace. She has mastered her crate and is doing well on walks. If you’re looking for a best friend who brings equal parts joy, goofiness, and gorgeous good looks, Aimee-Leigh is your girl.
