Story
Artemis is a sweet, energetic puppy who loves racing around the yard, playing with toys, and soaking up affection. She’s crate trained, eager to learn, and loves being part of the action. Artemis is friendly, social, and very loving, and she’d thrive with a family who enjoys outdoor fun, regular exercise, and plenty of snuggles. She has a happy, gentle spirit and is ready to grow up with her forever people. She’s currently 5 months old and 24lbs. The vet listed her as a Rottweiler mix. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   November 20, 2025, 7:58 pm

Story
Gizmo is a walking contradiction in fur form — all muscle, no awareness of it. He’s a giant goofball who hasn’t quite realized that his body could double as a wrecking ball if he gets the zoomies in a small space. Gizmo was found tied to a tree with no note, no backstory, and no idea how he ended up there. While we don’t know his past, we’re writing him a much better chapter now. In his foster home, he’s proven to be a social butterfly in a linebacker’s body — he plays well with his foster dog sibling and is learning that not every interaction needs to be at full throttle. He’s working on leash manners and basic obedience, though we’ll be honest: Gizmo tends to “act first, think later.” It’s part of his charm — that frat boy energy that keeps his foster laughing (and occasionally saying “Gizmo, what are you doing?!”). If you’ve got a sense of humor, a love for big personalities, and maybe a little patience for a lovable chaos gremlin in a Rottweiler suit, Gizmo just might be your guy.

Story
Shadow isn’t just a dog — he’s the full package: outdoorsy enough to conquer a weekend camping trip, mellow enough to nap through a thunderstorm, and loyal enough to follow your every move (hence the name). He just spent a week roughing it with his foster family and proved he’s a total catch — smart, funny, affectionate, and perfectly content just being wherever his people are. He’s been working hard on clicker training and confidence building, and he’s absolutely thriving with structure, love, and a soft spot to land.Shadow would do best in a calm home with someone (who will continue his training) who appreciates a good balance of adventure and relaxation — bonus points if you’ve got great snack options and a comfy couch. He’s available through his foster home, so meet-and-greets are by appointment only.To set one up, contact:Lauri Ann (LA) – 513-687-7598Shadow’s ready to leave “foster dog” in the rearview mirror and finally become somebody’s “best boy.”

Story
Hi! My name is Timberlake. I am a sweet and very hyper guy who needs a lot of exercise to burn my energy. I am a cool and loving guy. I got a lot of tail wagging when I get attention. I give you kisses and I will roll all over the place to get you to rub my belly. I love toys and may fetch them and maybe bring them back. I just love to run and play. I do well with other dogs and with kids. I do need cat tested if you have cats. I will be ready very soon for my new home.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
