My name is Darcy and I am a young, 2 year old, 85 pound Rottweiler girl that is looking for a home where I can be the Queen and the only dog in my domain.  You see I love cats but I was the only dog for a while and then here comes this other dog when my adoptive momma’s daughter moved home with her dog.  I just felt like I should be asked about that, but I wasn’t.  I am a little territorial with other dogs about my place and space.  If you know my breed traits and all the great positives about a Rottweiler, then you know I will be a fabulous family companion.   I am the total package with all the great house manners, housebroken, I don’t chew and I am a really calm and beautiful Rottie girl.  My momma is heartbroken to find me another home, but it just has to happen. My name is Sparky and I am five years young! I am a Rottie/Min Pin mix. Yep! That's real! I am fixed and up to date on vaccines and weigh around 40 pounds. I found myself at the rescue when my family had to move and sadly, I couldn't go along. I am full of energy and I am looking for an active family that has previous dog experience as I need structure and exercise. I really like being around my people and can get very anxious when left alone. I would need need a family that is home often and can help me with my anxiety. I do get very excited when I know that the volunteers are going to take me for a walk, jumping up and down in anticipation. Strangers and small children make me a bit nervous, but once I get to know you, I will do anything to please! Children 12 and older would be best for me. I will sit and take treats nicely and I will give you my paw if you ask. Not to brag, but I am a very smart guy. I would do best in a home without cats. I could get along with another very mellow dog! Of course I would need to meet them along with the rest of the family first. Sparky is currently in a foster home where he is learning he doesn't need to be anxious when left alone. Aries was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer keep him due to landlord issues. He is around a year old and weighs 53 pounds. Aries needed some time to adjust to shelter life but has come out of his shell and enjoys treats and going on walks! He is a shy at first with new people, but treats are the key to his heart! Aires knows sit but will need some work on other commands. He is a sweet guy that would love to have a second chance at finding a loving forever home! Aries has lived with children but may be too much for small children so an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff.
